sorted byAs long as you apply annual treatment it should last, also have a decent base prepared to raise it off ground level, I created a frame using 2x4 timbers but also created a gravel pad for extra drainage.
Not too difficult to put together following the instructions but did need a second person to hold a panel straight when I screwed it in, the rest I could do myself.
For under £400 I can't complain and it was only meant to be a temporary structure but will keep it for as long as poss.
As an aside, I need a 7' x 5' base for my summer house as the old one rotted away. It was a single piece board and I cannot find a replacement anywhere, other than potentially trashing my existing summer house and buying a new one/shed of the same dimensions. Plenty of 8' x 4' at most DIY places, but how do wooden building makers get shed bases the right size when regular punters cannot? Or am I not looking hard enough?
