No USB charging port on these either t looks like. Quick charge as the benefit doesn't seem worth it with such a massive drawback. Always having a charger around since it's the same one as my phone/laptop/other headphones/drill/and more is a lot more convenient than quick charge but you need to have a specific charger/adaptor to be able to charge at all.

Only reason to remove usb is to make them waterproof but these aren't even the waterproof version, for reference it has the same waterproof rating as most phones like iPhones, Samsung phones, pixel phones, etc, and all those use usb(or lightning which is still a port). And quick charge in this case is like 5 minutes faster to get 1.5 hours of usage compared to the USB Aeropex version. Headphone batteries are so tiny that they're all gonna charge pretty fast using any charger.

Dont mind me, just ranting at companies using proprietary chargers on small non waterproof accessories in 2023.

I didn’t like it either but there is no space for a USB C or micro port on these, the depth and size would eat into the battery space. They are IP67 which is pretty water sealed. The older, larger ones had normal charging ports. It’s ok on something this small.

What's the sound quality like with these?

One of my ears is not great with air conduction.

I had a pair and sent them back. Sounds wasn’t anywhere near as good as my Anker p2 that cost me £15 from Amazon. Lacked bass and also, when running near a busy road, I couldn’t hear the music/podcast at all. I get that’s the point but on that front they’re maybe too effective.
I really wanted to like them but they just weren’t up to the job. Some ppl love them so maybe I was missing something.
further issue was that they vibrated against my ear on loud-ish volumes which was annoying.
I’m summary if you care about sound quality, spent the money on some in ear ones that aren’t that effective as ANC.
    hope this helps.

I really hadn't had much luck with bone conducting headphones. I bought a pair similar to these from the same supplier. They weren't very good for listening to audio books. Theyvibrated, annoyingly If the narrator had a deep voice. I also bought some cheaper ones to try. Had pretty much the same issue if I'm honest. In the end, I splashed out on a pair Expensive airpods. These solved all my problems but hurt my wallet.

The cheap ones do vibrate with bass/deep sound. They’re not comparable with AirPods so if you prefer them, these were probably the wrong choice in the first place.

If this was the waterproof version I'd be all over it, but good price nonetheless

It says ip67 rating. That is waterproof. I have these and wear them in the shower all the time.

Excellent price for excellent headphones. You get what you pay for and these are pretty much the best bone conduction headphones (without going for ultra high end) you can get, the Pro are a little more bassy but lose the waterproofing. Once you have tried bone conduction, it’s a one way trip if you need open sound for outdoor sports. These are so light and comfortable you can wear them all day long and barely notice.

Aftershokz Trekz are ones I bought. I paid 80 quid for them, heavily reduced. These ones here look like They are trying to copy the Aftershokz brand. So I can't see them being any better. But who knows?

Do you know if they'll have the mini version at this price, too?

I've been thinking about these headphones since previous Costco promotion, but every time I visited the store, their demo station was off and I couldn't test the sound. It was finally connected when new promotion started and after listening for a bit, I bought headphones.

I tested them on two conference calls, on a phone call and now listening to music from the phone. I think, they sound great. I didn't have a chance to run with them yet, but I'm sure they will stay on.

They work well with Garmin watch too, and are recommended on different forums. I read about it before purchase.

Hard case would be more useful than pouch. (edited)

I agree. They are great. Obviously very little bass compared with in-ear headphones. Something the hearing adapts to and the sound is actually very good. Great fit when running, no wobble or anything, very comfortable. Battery life and charging speed are good. I run them off a cheap an cheerful Huawei smartwatch and leave the phone at home when running - works a treat!
