512GB can be had for the same price from China, - AliExpress

Do we prefer Silicon Power to KingSpec? I don't.

The 512gb is on Amazon for about £5 more, I know where I would prefer to buy it from.

Got this from Amazon last week. I'm getting pauses when running it in a USB-C caddy with Win11 which runs just fine on a 2.5" caddy SSD. Hence this week's buy was another brand 'just in case'. I can't pin it down directly to the SSD so YMMV.

It feels like the (very old) Kingston A400 firmware problem before they fixed it.

These are getting so cheap that one day someone's going to peel off that outer label and find an SD card underneath

Would be so obvious without steeling the label. Sd As a boot drive for Windows would be as slow as HDD
