    It’s a shame it’s not retro pricing.

Smeg are definitely a case of style over substance. Should have been called Smug.(skeptical)

Who buys a fridge and look at the energy rating? That extra couple quid a year must be a real killer

Great deal OP, but will always go down like a lead balloon on here!

I wonder why. Oh yes it"s a deals website.

This is discounted from a silly rrp, to a slightly less silly, but still massively inflated price.

While this definitely seems overpriced, as soon as you go lower in price the quality seems to take a turn and defrosting becomes an issue. I’m keeping my eye out for a replacement beer fridge so would welcome seeing more suggestions.

Worth looking for wine coolers, I have one in my garage stuffed with beer and it does the job. No wasted space with veg drawers etc

had it for years, get little fridge.
mind its a minibar fridge, absorption, not compressor.

it uses a heater to give completely silent operation.
there are cheap turkish absorption fridges now,
but for decades dometic was the main brand, are were
    always several hundred quid

Yeah noted the difference between the new one at work which was practically silent and the new one which you notice is on.

been looking for a small fridge for the home office, but this won't be it... seems to be more for the cosmetics that anything else.

135L is small. Even at this price it's still a ripoff. Reserved for people with more money than sense.
