    I have just paid £8.31 for 1kg because I used FASHION20 and GET20POFF.

    Too much sugar

There's no sugar added to it.

Very chalky, I picked some up due to the crazy prices.

Slowly working my way through it but it's not the best taste and consistency, I can't mix it with my oats for example. Have to swig it back while ignoring the taste.

That's casine protein for you though mate that's just the way it is.

Horrible, I threw away nearly 5 kg of this a few years back, poor mixability, thin fly away powder, it is a “blend” but mostly soy, as i say this was about 3 years ago, so they may have changed their recipe, even if they did i would steer well clear theres a pbn one on here for a fiver more, get that instead, you have been warned! Casein protein in general has poor mixablity, I just got 5kg from Bulk and have to stir it like crazy and neck it straight away before it starts to clump. I don't mind though for the slow releasing protein it's worth it. Only a fiver more is actually 50% more so quite abit for people on a budget. Can't comment on the taste iv not tried this it yet but I can tolerate most things, not drinking it for the taste but the gains 💪.

I'm on Double Chocolate based on internet recommendations. Flavour is ok and mixability average. At this price point it's not going to be the best in those regards, but for cheap protein it's good value (bodybuildingwarehouse seems to be the cheapest directly with vouchers, however sales on eBay and Amazon. The 5kg obviously works out cheaper overall)

You guys know all this “slow releasing night time protein” and “fast digesting protein etc” is just marketing bull , science says what matters is your overall quantity of protein, with complete amino acid profile.
    morty's avatar
No it's not you claim to talk about science yet you have not even looked at it.

Whey is processed fairly quickly depending on the person this can can 30min onwards.

Casein is slow this can be 4-8hrs again depending on person.

Yes quality matters but really if you care about quality why are you buying powers eat real foods eggs for example best source.

Was looking at updating my summer wardrobe with some of this actually.

Wearing this powder will surely be impractical and messy, no?

Thanks for this normally buy just pure casein for night time gains, but this’ll do at this price

My Protein's flavours taste nice. They did do a free sample sachet a while ago which admitedly is the extent of my experience with it.

Some nice prices due to discount code!

I Just ordered 2x 300g tub Warrior Micronised Creatine Mono and 2x 1kg Whey Protein Choc Peanut for £35.76 delivered.

Just the creatine elsewhere would be £30 so paying approx £6 for 2kg of Whey Protein isn't bad.

I love the Choc peanut flavour in a banana / peanut / cinamon smoothie, honestly it tastes delicious even with 3g of creatine powder added.

A silly question I was 98kg so went on diet now I’m 83kg and I’m 6.1. I am got too skinny I am looking to do light gym any protein which can help me recover little bit what u guys would suggest
    LiamJ's avatar
I'm a PT, if I understand the question - you lost 15kg but you feel you're too skinny and want to gain some muscle? Whey protein is good to keep your protein intake up around meals and after sessions & rest days. Casein is a slow releasing protein so is ideal for evenings before bed. Also, look into getting creatine. Have a read about creatine online

Have had this in the past but haven't bought it again as I've always assumed that it's so cheap for a reason. Anybody had the quality tested by Labdoor etc? I just don't see how they can undercut every other brand without cutting corners

It's not really that cheap. Deals pop up on here all the time for around £10 per kg of protein, infact there's one now from MyProtein for pure impact whey at less than £10 per kg. I recently got 2.5 kg of casein from Bulk for £22.50, I posted the deal.

Used GET20POFF too, got it for £8.31 / kg
