10/10 and strangely, it might be one of the best war television shows ever made thanks to its latter seasons.

I would have to agree with you here. On the long story telling over all the seasons it really is an epic story. Also Battlestar was pretty epic in the story telling! Lot of people don't give DS9 a chance but I have found it one of my favourites and has some of my favourites Star Trek characters in it throughout the whole franchise. I love the Ferrengis!!!! lol Nice price!

They are both as much the same as they are different; it really isn't important, they are both great shows and enjoyed on their own merits and in many cases fans share a love for both. It's not hard to make comparisons to two completely different shows and draw similarities of plagiarism - shows are written for the time and will take inspiration from the time to appeal to their audience, in this case the same one. How many Police orientated shows are there, I expect so many of these could easily be found to fulfil the rhetoric of plagiarism but ultimately without merit. Let it be and just enjoy either for what they are. ""Star Trek was an attempt to say that humanity will reach maturity and wisdom on the day that it begins not just to tolerate, but take a special delight in differences in ideas and differences in life forms." - Gene Roddenberry

Greatest TV show. Wish blu ray or 4K was available.

Sadly the TNG HD project didn't make enough money to justify it for DS9 apparently - the few brief battle scenes recreated in HDD for the What We Left Behind Documentary made me want it on Blu Ray even more.

DS9 is quite probably my favourite Trek series (SNW, Picard and Prodigy (assuming someone buys it!) making me positive for the future though).
