A collection of Superman films old and new. In 'Superman - The Movie' (1978), a baby from the planet Krypton develops superhuman powers under Earth's yellow sun. As an adult (Christopher Reeve) he dons red cape and pants, and flies across the world doing good deeds, whilst also hiding behind the alias of mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent. Fellow journalist Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) falls for the muscleman in tights without realising he and her bumbling colleague are one and the same. This special-effects laden adaptation of the DC Comics series also features Marlon Brando in a highly-paid cameo and Gene Hackman as evil mastermind criminal Lex Luthor

Really nice boxset. Shame that it doesn't include the Donner Cut of Superman II.

They are just about to re-release all of these again in a 4K boxset with Superman the movie being given cinema screenings in April.

Why is the Donner Cut better than the original?

Said it a million times. Superman the movie is the best comic to film adaptation

As good as Henry Cavill is, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to me (of course he was the one I grew up with).

Weirdly I'd also put the first live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles move as an incredibly accurate recreation of the original Mirage comics with only nods to the cartoon of the time.
