£35.95 now, OP!
Bad timing for me this would of been so amazing to play for first time using the switch the ability to play anywhere bloody hell I'd of never been off it haha but couldn't play it again now will hope the next Biggie is straight to switch. Very excited for smash brothers though
Does one buy and keep sealed or hold off to see if it drops before picking it up
I've never played this so could be the time to get involved..
Can anyone shed some light as to what the difference is? I can’t see any and they’re both sold by amazon

Of course amazon recommends the more expensive one

I bought day one for £37 from Coolshop I believe. Was a pre order price. Shortly after the price went up to around £44-47.

It's slowly coming down to £35 every so often during a sale. But hasn't really dropped any further.

If you're not going to play it any time soon. Hold off.

It'll either float around £35 or maybe you could snatch a used copy around £27-30.

Plays well on the switch, only 2 crashes in around 55 hours of play.
But I much prefer fallout series over Skyrim.

I’m considering it at this price, but then I haven’t played more than 10 hours in BOTW yet really should at least complete the main story before starting Skyrim again.

Good to know about crashes, last time I played was on 360 when it was released, I would hope most issues are resolved by now but then it is Bethesda.

Ha! I was all set to say it was because one listing was from a third-party seller, but they're both being sold by Amazon. There's only one version of the game on Switch so buy the cheaper one with confidence.
I bought this in the Game deal as I wanted the £15 credit towards the BOTW expansion. Playing in bed this morning was amazing. The port job is exceptional.

It contains day 1 bugs from the original 2011 release.

Can't really rate it better than "acceptable" given that fact.
For someone that has never played Skyrim, how accessible is it?

Very.

Skyrim was my first elder scrolls game.
As long as you have some experience with openworld & RPG games you'll have a great time!
Picked this up when it launched on switch as an impulse buy. Hadn’t played since the 360, thought maybe I’ll play it a bit. 100 hours later and I can’t put it down. Easily the best looking handheld game I’ve ever seen. Also the most stable build of it I’ve seen.

Outside of the weird af static audio pop that the game has from time to time I have come across no problems in all 100+ hours.

This game is an embarrassment of riches with content. Especially if, like me you haven’t played the DLC
Had the PC version before, couldn't go past 3 hours without getting bored but since I've picked up the Switch version recently already clocked over 20+ hours, its so addictive in this handheld form factor.

Same for me, I didn't like it that much on 360 and gave up after about twenty hours, but I'm about 100 hours in and apart from a few hours on Golf Story, I've played nothing else since finishing Odyssey.

Had the same audio static thing too, and just a couple of crashes. I do wonder if just putting the Switch to sleep causes some issues, because sometimes the game has been running for basically days on end!
Had this a while but still haven't played. Haven't managed to sell yet either still on BotW
Good price but as I only just finished up another play through within the last few months of 2017 it will be a while before I have another crack so I'll hold off and see if drops even more. Would definately be awesome to have on a mobile platform though.
even cheaper now £35
Up to £36.10 now
Prices are all over the place at the moment but I'l update the post every hour if needed!
Pirce on the page keeps changing because it's available from multiple sellers and the page keeps showing a different one.
If you go to the list of all available you can see them all and at time of writing there is still one for £35.

I can't say which one is better because I've had a phenomenal experience with both titles..

But if you enjoy RPG's with unique gameplay, a gripping story and plenty of opportunities to side track with side quests and exploring, this is a game for you.

Even at this price it won't be hard to get your money's worth.

Not quite, because Zelda raised the bar for open world games. Though Skyrim is still an epic game and comes very close.

If you haven't played it before then you are in for a treat. If you have then it's definitely worthwhile jumping back in as it's great on the go.
I think even at this price I want a Special Edition with a poster I won't use, and a Soundtrack CD I won't listen too. Hope am not being greedy
So torn whether to pick this up at this price. Love the idea or being able to play this on a handheld
Cant believe they are selling skyrim for this much.

I got on the Switch for £40 when it first came out. Never played it before then. So for me it was absolutely worth the price.
