Does anyone know if this can just replace the g-fast BT SmartHub2?
    No additional equipment

If you mean disconnect and pack away the smart hub 2 then no it'll still be needed to act as a modem. You will need to put the smart hub 2 into modem mode and connect your new WiFi to it

I have this coupled with a couple of these below. I have a 4 bed house, 300mbps fibre and I get decent WiFi all over the house. 250mbps in my upstairs bedrooms and my router is downstairs in the living room. At under £100 this is a bargain.

Ordered thanks! No clue how this will replace or work alongisde with Virgin Hub 3, will research on that tonight!

You'll need to login to the router settings on the virgin hub and put into modem mode. Then connect the ethernet cable from the virgin hub to the new router

Does anyone know if you can add this to a TP link deco setup and act as part of the mesh?

one of my friend have this and as per him:
"I used one of these to bridge to router supplied by internet provider which essentially creates a mesh and allows the two routers to work side by side with no issues"

based on this should work. Mine is arriving tomorrow, will check

Excellent piece of kit, massively improved my wifi network access around the house, and most importantly its stable. Super simple setup and also proves what garbage the virgin hubs are.

I have the AX-72, same except for dual core CPU instead of Tri-core CPU like this one. 2.4ghz wifi seems weak and slow, 5ghz is good, most things use 5ghz now though, it is stable though with FTTP.

Does it supports guest wifi? (edited)
    Smartguy1's avatar
    Yes it has guest option.

Anything an ISP gives you for free is NEVER going to have as good WiFi range as what is advertised here.
