    We’ve been though this multiple times with these kinds of deals.

    It’s not a splitter if it can’t display both at the time. It’s a bi-directional switch at best.

    Used one of these for a while to switch between PS5 and XSX connected to a monitor - worked great for a while, but started to repeatedly and randomly drop the signal from the PS5 after a while - possibly related to VRR, not really sure.

    Moved to the UGREEN 8k switcher instead, which has been spot on so far, albeit significantly more expensive.

    Still use this one elsewhere, it's a steal for the price.

    I had the same problem actually using my PS4 & Xbox 1
    All good , then suddenly a frame is going , hence screen gets black for less than a second ,

    i just remove it
    i will follow your advice with the 8K , then update

    I bought a 4k switcher on amazon late 2021, it's worked great, although i have recently purchased a bigger 1 from currys because of the amount of electricals growing
