Not the best price it's been but this is an awesome film which I'd recommend to anyone who's a fan of hard-core anti hero films

Karl Urban stars in this sci-fi action thriller based on the 2000 AD comic series.

In a desolate post-atomic world, the remaining humans live in police-controlled 'Mega Cities'. In Mega City One, Judge Dredd (Urban) is the most feared of an elite group of law enforcement officers who hold the power to sentence offenders and, if necessary, execute them on the spot.

Dredd's latest adversary is Ma-Ma (Lena Headey), the matriarch of a drugs gang that has been selling a reality-altering substance known as SLO-MO. With the help of a young trainee (Olivia Thirlby), Dredd must bring his merciless brand of justice to some of the city's most dangerous districts.

    Excellent movie, saw it at the cinema in 3D. Looks like a decent price. Karl Urban makes an excellent Dredd.

    He was brilliant in this, I also thought he was excellent playing the Russian baddie in the Bourne film, then he goes and plays Bones in Star Trek, what a superb actor!

    One of my favs! Just an awesome movie, wish it had done well at the box office as would have had a trilogy by now.

    I didn't realise this was released in a 3D format as well (It makes sense as there is a lot of scenes that really cry out for 3D treatment!)
    The only problem I have with this movie is the fact that they have totally missed the oppertunity to make a follow up - Karl has stated in interviews he is ready to return to the role, sadly I believe it is too late now....
