This one specifically or humidifiers generally?

After a night's use I can honestly say the vapor pads are useless lol. They smell very strong when take a sniff of the pad directly but the scent is very week through the humidifier steam.

Olbas oil works a treat in the oil Cup but six drops evaporate within an our even on the low setting.

Will try using lumps of vaporub tonight.

I was looking at a similar product on here which had a place to put a 10ml essential oil bottle upside down so lasted much longer between uses! If I can find it I’ll post the link!

I'm assuming you tried vaporub on them/their pillows first? (edited)

Yup. The rub and the oils.
Having to start the second round of antibiotics now unfortunately.
Its such a strange cough, he's fine during the day. The moment he is 1hr in to sleep, the coughing fits start lasting hours resulting in puking up the phlegm.
