About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
The Wattbike Atom is normally priced at £1999.00 so this is a rare opportunity to buy at £250 off direct from the retailer.
As the website says- 'Connect your Wattbike and ride with a global community of like-minded cyclists. Take on real race profiles, challenges, or structured training plans, in an immersive training environment.'
There have been a few software updates since first introduced to answer some of the issues brought up by reviewers.
I realise its a difficult item to accept is a deal at £1749 but in its field compared to the Tacx, Wahoo and Stages all in one smart bikes this is an excellent price for indoor cycling training. Back to school signs are in the shops, winter is coming so get ready for the snow and fog to come and train indoors - just to cheer you all up!
There's also a free heart rate strap for signing up to their mail list when buying.

The Atom comes with free trials to most of these so you can try to see what you like. Personally I’ve used all of them & like Zwift for the group rides/race component & TR for the variety of specific workouts (adaptive plans also meant to be good).
As for getting bored, it’s personal. I’ve had my Atom since 2018 & still use it regularly (along with riding/running outdoors & swimming). It’s an awesome tool to increase your fitness/burn calories, especially when it’s wet/dark/cold.
Nice trainer though.

Difficult to forecast production and stock control in the last couple of years.
The others companies are larger such as Garmin/Tacx, Wahoo and Elite but if even Zwift have now decided its not a good time to launch into supplying their own branded trainers then the uncertainty is real.
1. Pedal hard so you heat up naturally and don't use your central heating.
2. Use it to hang damp clothes to dry naturally instead of spending on energy consumed by a tumble dryer.
3. Seriously though this doesn't have a USB socket to charge devices unlike other smart bikes.

Last time I posted a deal for that it went negative even at £1,499 so I must have caught a bad vibe at the time.
Hopefully we can also get our roads back soon. The polution and extra fuel caused by people on bikes is a nightmare. As well as the stress and slow down to the movement of goods and people on our roads. The harm to the economy must be worst than the health benefits these freeloaders get
Join a gym like I have, if you want to get fit. Was bad enough when kids wanted to play soccer in my road.
I think it is a great piece of kit if you are seriously into cycling + work out more than 10 hours a week + someone else at home uses it as well... and if you are sure you are not going to get bored of indoor training (which is my main concern for not buying a trainer)...
Is there any chance this qualifies under a cycling to work scheme?

Its a really nice bike, great build quality, and saddle goes high enough for someone 6ft5. Fairly loud, not one for the lounge whilst watching TV.
I am/was a road cycler and wanted to be able to have a pedal in the depths of winter. After the novelty of riding with others on Zwift wore off, I decided that ultimately I missed the outdoors and realised that was the main reason I cycle! I sold it and got a mountain bike in the end and never looked back. In the winter MTB is much more fun than roading.
Tip: you may need to buy a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle for your computer as I did, as the Atom send so much data my (fairly decent) laptops inbuilt Bluetooth couldn't handle it and the connection dropped out.
Tip: resale value is excellent, if you wanted to take a punt, you may only be down a couple of hundred quid in a year or so.
Last tip: check out 'RGT cycling' as a free alternative to zwift. Much fewer people using it but still fun. Zwift is damned expensive. (edited)
Would recommend as great for training late in the evening after the kids have finished football etc
