    Good price but been this price for weeks. I managed to get a the 20TB on WH deals for the same price. Arrived and was new with some damage to the box. Great drives inside.

    I'd rather go for this limited deal (eBay promotion) and get a USB 3 caddy, slightly more but 2TB more space and you can use the drive in an enclosure or your PC guaranteed >

    Massive HDD price inflation when much bigger drives are coming, and super good flash has never been cheaper. People think Nvidia is bad, but the HDD manufactures (in the consumer space) are just as awful.

    Given the lousy quality of the HDD used in these devices, these should be sub-200, and wouldn't be cheap at 200.

    The drives are often white label data centre drives. The bare drives usually cost more than the ones in the enclosures.

    Shuckable? Not sure if the tape technique would be required on the connector pins…

    Most require the tape but some don't depending on the exact model used in this batch, so you'll have to check with someone who owns a drive from the batch they are currently selling.
