Been going through all the old school wwe or wwf as it was called. First time I've watched The Rocks first entrance with the nation of demolition, didn't even know he was part of a group, nor did I know he was first called Rocky Maiva.

I sound old but they just don't make it like they used to, D Generation X, Kane, Mankind, Stone Cold, HBK, so damn good man

If you want to relive the Attitude era then here's something I recommend....

Watch King of the Ring 1996 just for the Stone Cold 3:16 promo. You can probably skip everything else in 1996 except few good PPV matches (ask if anyone is interested).

Then fast forward to 1997 where I would start with the very first Raw of the year in January. You will get a nice build up to the Bret/Stone Cold rivalry and one which will dominate 1997 culminating in Montreal later that year.

Congratulations, you are now in the Attitude Era.

Continue working your way through till 2000, which was one of the best years in the history of wrestling, and into early 2001. You will reach a natural conclusion at WrestleMania 17 which in my opinion is the greatest piece of television ever produced.

As for me, I am now skip watching the Evolution era and plan to stop at WM in 2006 when Rey wins the Big Gold.

    Go well.

Great deal if you can get full access to the classic content like in nineteen ninety eight when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.

Matches in those days were basically squash matches (though there were some decent ones on the PPV’s). It’s better now (though you do get some meaninglessness matches still), in particular on NXT (WWE’s third brand/developmental brand) which Triple H is in charge of (HBK also helps train them too). I haven't watched WWE in few years, since around the time Punk, Bryan and AJ (Lee) all left in quick succession. Wrestling is always about sitting through the rubbish to get to the good stuff but the ratio of rubbish to good became too much even for me. Stuck with NXT a while longer but eventually stopped with that too.

WWE became so openly hostile to its fans (piping in cheers, editing in fake crowd reactions, refusing to stop attempting to make charisma-vacuum Roman Reigns a star at the expense of everyone else, etc) that it broke the habit of a lifetime for me. Watching WWE nowadays is unmistakably like watching an elderly multi-millionaire play with his action figures.

This is a good deal for revisiting childhood memories of the old stuff though.

Cheers OP I'll be looking back at the 90s events even they came over here. I went to a few, SummerSlam 92 being the highlight. That was an awesome day. Not impressed with this new era of WWE though. They've basically moved into making it more theatrical and even though we know it's all fake, the fact that they have the Broken Skull sessions (which are actually brilliant) actually breaks the illusion and it doesn't feel the same. Have to say I've started watching AEW on ITV and been impressed with it. Seems more like WWE in the attitude era, and I like that.

Word of caution: WWE network have a habit of “accidentally” reinstating subscriptions after they have lapsed. It’s happened to me twice and to a friend and brother in law. Make sure you remove payment details after your trial or promo period.

    They are the super smarks

AEW is the most enjoyable show of the week for me ATM. Closely followed by NxT/SD. Raw is just dreadful. SD is probably the most improved show in recent months too with the current RR championship reign.

Everyone is gonna have their own opinion of course, but to label people as smarks is just unnecesary. Just enjoy what you enjoy and let others do the same.

With that being said, this is a great offer in terms of value. Some of the WWE documentaries made recently have been fantastic.

... Wasn't Brock Lesnar the UFC champion? That was a rhetorical question by the way, he was.

Why are you comparing an actual competitive fighting company to a scripted wrestling company? It's like comparing Football to Tennis, they are totally different and it's even possible to like both (sorry if that blows your mind).

You're embarrassing yourself, and you sound like a 14 year old getting protective over their favourite games console.

Super deal this. WWE is not great at the moment, especially since they broke up the Hurt Business, so great to watch some of the attitude era, documentaries and upcoming PPVs. NXT is my favourite at the moment, and some proper hardcore wrestling (Walter vs Ciampo at NXt takeover). Have some heat (edited)
