    I was thinking to get into yugioh recently (rather than Pokémon)

    You guys recon it's worth it. Is it a money pit like Pokémon? I've heard some people claim mechanics are a bit annoying or something

    I mean, it's as much of a money pit as you want it to be. If you want to play modern competitively, then yeah it's pretty expensive. But if you prefer Goat or Edison format, then you can get by quite cheap as there have been lots of reprints for all the cards. I wouldn't recommend the modern game, though, the power creep is ridiculous and the game is boring as a result, games are often decided in the first turn.

    I am partial to the Edison format myself, it's a good compromise between speed and complexity, without being ridiculous like the newest cards: edisonformat.com/ban…tml (edited)

    Have they ever sold all 3 egyption god cards in a set? I recalled only being able to get like one of them.

    This includes all three, but you can get a better rarity of them too with some luck (1 per box).

    I've seen it for a little less before. Good value though, worth the money, the quarter century rare promo cards will likely hold decent value, they look great.

    Just received mine with no packaging, it was just this box with a thin Konami plastic around it with an Amazon sticker on it. Box is damaged sadly, I know it sounds picky but I wanted to keep it mint condition as a collectible.
