sorted byI use a Vodafone 5g unlimited SIM for my area, if you don't have 5G but have it "coming soon" it switches down if needed to 4G and 3G.
Vodafone advertise 5G but in truth for us it's 4G+, but we get up to 130mbps download and up to 30mbps upload, with no external antennas.
We have 16 devices connected with phones, tablets, consoles, laptops, ring doorbell, Sonos, Google home etc... And no buffering. WiFi 6 strength is very good.
5G would still be limited by what your nearest mast can push and how congested it is. If you have a very recent phone it will give you a good indication of this.
I have wifi 6 at home and the speeds are comparable to a saturated gigabit ethernet connection, with a slightly higher ping.

Recently, I noticed that sending files to my NAS on our local network over wifi had stopped my TV from streaming. I thought this was strange, as the TV is wired into the router. It seems like I hit a limit of the routers capabilities.
