MrSwitch this one or Poco 5?

IMO this, better SOC and realme will give better support, not much in the long run but enough to quantify.

If you want to game on it, do not get this phone. Realme's android fork has some serious issues that were introduced in the first few firmware upgrades that make gaming really unpleasant. Performance is choppy and hugely inconsistent and stuttery. For gaming my old Snapdragon 865 gives better performance than this Snapdragon 888 based phone. I am considering having to flash mine to an unofficial ROM to try and resolve the issue.
Example is Diablo 4, 50-60fps on my 865 powered Find X2 Pro, 40-60 at lower settings on the Realme, this is despite lower resolution and settings on the Realme it's just a stutter fest, and lots of underlying software between the two phones is the same, as Realme/Oppo/OnePlus are all owned by the same brand, but despite all this, performance is stuttery and unpleasant on the GT2, even though it should be considerably faster.
Xiaomi has issues with throttling but it should still be better than the wildly inconsistent performance this phone exhibits, and it's a real shame as on paper the Realme GT2 is a fantastic phone, it does well in benchmarks, but the actual firmware currently on the phone in Europe just does a poor job translating it into reality. Battery life and screen on time are also not where you would expect it to be from the 5000mah battery.
To make matters worse, Realme make it difficult to unlock the bootloader, and also don't offer rollback firmware except for the Indian variant.
In hindsight I'd have gone for Xiaomi or something else, even though I have loved my Oppo Find X2 Pro, Realme's way of working and ColorOS android fork (RealmeUI) seems unfortunately distinctly sub par, and the phone is less than the sum of its parts, almost like there is debug code or throttling/power management issues built into the firmware. I emulate PS2 absolutely fine on mine. No heat issues either. Very happy with mine.

I have the pro version and I've a few issues with the phone, but mostly it's much better than anything Samsung or apple that I've had.

It'll do 65w fast charge like the Oppo Find X2 Pro. If you can find a charger designed for that (might be cheaper as older), it'll work.
