All in one economical family printer required

Looking for recommendations on a new family printer

Our needs are for -

Children's homework
Working from home prints
Scanning to network drive/laptop (both side/duplex scanning)
Photocopying
Print directly off mobile phone

Average prints per month in both black and white and colour - 25

Ink would need to be cost effective (I currently pay £4 a month to HP)

Budget £150

    Epson Ecotank. They've turned the page (pardon the pun) now so once you've got the printer (~£150ish) it's free for about 8000 pages, then £20 to top up.

    Does your current printer do all of the above already?

    If so, I'd stick with it due to low print volume.

    It does but very slow and intermittently works.
    It's over 6 years old...

    I couldn't in good faith recommend anything HP - the way they tie you in to their system is ridiculous. For your budget there are so many other options out there.

    Brother seem to be the one manufacturer that everybody recommends. I think this is due to them not locking the printer or scanner if the other one fails or runs out of ink. Most people say they just work and keep working.
