Depends what you're printing and how often. Inkjets can be cheap to buy, but expensive to run,. And if you don't use it often, you run the risk of the print heads getting clogged.
If you're printing less frequently, it might be worth spending the extra on a laser printer, because they don't have the same issues. But colour lasers can be expensive up front. Mono lasers, less so.
