Can I upgrade a free Disney + subscription to the top package?

Hi all.

I've got a free 12 month sub code from Samsung but that's only for the standard package which allows 2 simultaneous streams and only 1080p resolution.

Does anyone know whether I can pay extra to upgrade the free subscription to the next package up?

    Lots of talk on the internet about a £3 one off charge (I would have thought monthly).
    However I've tried with two accounts and to chats with Disney SUpport and they aren't having any of it.

    The only option they are giving me is to cancel the applied code and sign up at full 4k price.

    Mmm, that's what I thought. Amazon offers the upgrade I believe but also read the Disney part about not allowing it.

    Some promo codes allow the upgrade some dont.
    If yours has the ability to upgrade youd see it when logging in via a browser in the current package section.
    For the ones able to upgrade its a one time £3 payment not monthly

    I used the Samsung 12 month offer and upgraded for £3. Thought it was monthly tbh rather than a one off payment. Will need to check.
