Can Xbox game pass still be upgraded to Ultimate ?

Can I buy basic 12-month game pass and then upgrade it by buying 2 weeks Ultimate pass that I can currently get for £1?

    I know it worked like that in the past but MS keep changing the way passes work so wanted to make sure this still works. I read that you can’t upgrade 3 years of Gold pass to Ultimate anymore by buying 1 month of Ultimate but not sure if that’s true
