Fax Using PC - Fax.Plus?

Is there a recommended way to send faxes from your laptop for free (don't really want to download a whole new App). Does anyone successfully use this Fax.Plus or recommend anything else?

    Yeh I agree, but it's for a less used process hence it's all manual

    I simply ask cos fax.plus is an extension in my chrome browser on a chromebook (edited)
