Freeview Play

Hi, I have an old non smart TV and need freeview play so my kid can watch the tiny pop channel. What's the cheapest way to get freeview play? I've had a quick look at set top boxes and they are around the same cost as a cheap TV. Any help appreciated. TIA.

You could buy a firestick & load the Pop Player App

How can I access the POP Player?

You can access the POP Player on your TV via Freeview Play and YouView or via the mobile app on your phone or tablet. For more information, please visit tinypop.com/pop-player/

Also, unfortunately, people are saying the software isn't being updated and it's not working - amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B077XHH1WP/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_viewopt_srt?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews&sortBy=recent&pageNumber=1

Is there an alternative to firestick? Or YouView my best option? (edited)

Youview box of Facebook no more than £10 might do for you.
