Graphics Card Help

I'm trying to find the best Geforce Graphics Card for my sons pc for around £200-250 but i'm hopeless when it comes to these things. He mostly plays FPS on a 1080P monitor. I was looking in Cex shop but haven't a clue really what's good or not. Any help would be great. Thanks
