Graphics Card Testing

Hi, anyone know of a way to test if a graphics card is working properly with only a laptop?

Looking to sell one but want to make sure it works before selling it.

Would think you’ll need some kinda GPU enclosure, which ain’t cheap.
And think they use thunderbolt to connect, don’t think they are that common with laptops

I hope your Ebay name isn't the same as your HUKD username.

If you are asking, I don't think its possible. Maybe CEX will take it off you & test it before paying you? Or give it to your local PC shop to test for a fee. (edited)

Couldn’t you use a test benchmark software?
If the results largely compare to any review writers - then the unit is probably in good condition.
In the main, I’d just be looking to ensure the fans perform as normal, with no throttling when under load for an ‘average’ amount of time.

3dmark is one I can recall.

He doesn't have a PC to put his full sized GPU in.

    OP only has a laptop.
