Household appliances warranty, which company is "best"

No matter what company I have used in the past it always seems to be a 2 week turnaround for them to come, order parts and repair.

be it a dishwasher, tumble dryer or washing machine.

Has anyone used a company that you feel is better, or more reliable?

You're nearly always better off just sticking the money into a savings account until something goes wrong.

I cant see that to be honest, most plans are 30 to 50 a year, call outs are £100 pounds plus.

If money wasn't a factor then Miele.

That said I've used Bosch appliances for decades and they've served me well.

EDIT - My bad, I misread the original post as asking about manufacturers, not warranty providers. Sorry (edited)

What you are buying is an insurance policy. The actual work is outsourced to third party repair shops that probably work with multiple insurance companies. Secondly, demand for services is high but capacity is relatively tight. So it is unlikely you will get a significantly better experience from a different warranty policy.

Legal and general one is pretty good.
