Laptop

Hi guys,

I'm searching for a laptop budget is up to £250. Screen has to be at least 16", 8gb ram, 256gb ssd.

Dell or Lenovo or something of a similar brand.

Can someone recommend me something?

    16" is a weird laptop screen size - they usually come as 15.6" or 17".
    At that price range you are best going for something second hand - plenty of options of ebay, however you would need around £350 on CEX...

    For that budget, you are not going to get a new one with those specs. Look at the refurbished deals.

    You will need to find something on the dell refurbished store. Usually you can get an inspiron or something for around that price.

    There was a recent deal thread on the go, for a Lenovo T480 ThinkPad.

    It is a refurbished second-hand laptop, from an eBay UK Seller, but it was a 14" FHD Touchscreen, 8th Gen i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD - it was going for £150 (from what I remember).

    If you went for that, you'd have a lot of money left over to upgrade the RAM, but also the internal storage as well, with a larger capacity SSD.

    If however you go for a refurbished Dell laptop, I would recommend the Latitude or Vostro Lines, as the Inspiron Lines were never that great in terms of longetivity.
