M&S cashback using gift card - Quidco

Does anyone know if Quidco pay out for M&S orders paid by gift card? I know in the t&c’s on Quidco it says no, but some merchants still pay out when you’ve bought with a gift card (ie Argos) even though it says no in the t&c’s.

    I have never understood this restriction given that a gift card is just a payment method and doesn't change what the retailer gets. In my experience, I have never had a cashback declined because of this.
