What drill for a cylinder barrel lock?
What torque would I need to drill through a cylinder barrel lock?
My barrel is just spinning in my french doors so I can't open them.
I have bought a set of cobalt drill bits
I've been looking at a couple of 18v Bosch professional combi drills but not sure if the lower torque ones would do the job

sorted byThis video highlighted how weak they are, and prompted me to change all mine for anti-snap versions.
I take it, these ones would do the job?
Replaced the barrel, thinking this is too easy for me 😁
Try the handle a few times in the door open position, all fine.
Lock door and go to open it and the barrel is spinning again.
I can only think it's the big locking mechanism that runs the length of the door that's faulty.
Think I'll just call a locksmith
