Why aren’t there any branded 4TB 2.5” drives sub £200?

Need to upgrade from a mechanical drive and motherboard doesn’t support m.2.

Is it simply a supply and demand problem?

Looking at the 3 camels, cheapest now at £207 is the crucial mx500 which is a really old.

There were some great samsung cashback offers earlier this year where you ended up paying £150’ish a 4tb, can’t remember exact model but was good.

Will wait a few weeks and see if they drop. Better not go up!

Doesn't support m2, or doesn't support NVMe? Unless you're rocking like a 3000-series Intel (or something older), you should be able to use an nvme drive via a PCIe to m2 riser card.
