I have alos claimed multiiple lifeline and bloodhound editions on my PS4 just for the coins they give
On playstation you definitely can. I've redeemed all of mine on the same account
OP can you confirm that you can definitely redeem these more than once per account? I was always under the impression you couldn't as it'd show the SKU as already being owned on the store
Shame it’s Corby (lol) wouldn’t risk losing my car for the sake of a game for £1 (I’m kidding of course! May have a trip there next week as haven’t been to Clearance Bargains in a fair few years now but always had some decent stuff in!)
Apex runs on Respawns Source engine as far as I know
Typical EA, Activision are bad for that as well.. At least on Fortnite you can earn your way onto it eventually Apex is a good game tbf I like it a lot but
Not as far as I'm aware. I have some apex coins that I must have "won" somewhere but no where near enough to buy a season pass.
So there's no way to get on the Battlepass ladder other than having to buy into it?
You can't get on the season pass ladder for free, you initially have to buy in, I think it's 800 coins (of the 1000 in this pack). You can stay on the ladder for free if you play enough. As you progress through the season you earn coins.
Never miss a 'Apex Legends' deal again!

One thing with Fortnite that's come out, via the Epic v Apple case, is that Sony have a deal with Epic where they'll get compensation if amount spent by PS players on other stores goes above a certain threshold - so do think money is an issue in most cases, although I think that could just be Sony in this one. Would definitely prefer cross play & progression though, hope more follow COD etc on that. I'm believer that pro-consumer policies pay off in hidden (and not so hidden) ways, although not easy to measure that difference so the suits go for what aught to get them more money & less hassle.
The main issue is that other cross platform games like COD: Warzone and Destiny 2 have Cross Progression, Rocket League and (I believe Fortnite) let you migrate or pick which of your accounts you want to you for progress, so people are hoping Respawn will do the same. There is still a bit of gatekeeping when you change platforms, COD Warzone for instance won't transfer credits bought on the PSN store or awarded on the PSN gameplay and any PSN specific skins get changed to generic ones if you play on other platforms.
The platform owners want you spending money on their store - if free to move, then you may end up spending elsewhere
Mind you I'd quite like my progress just to load. Seems like the new update is struggling lol
Oh I see thanks. I could see how that would be useful. Suprised progress isn't linked to the ea account and by logging in, it is "loaded" into whatever platform you're using.
Yeah ive read that its more about the lore which I prefer to be honest. Did you know theres also a comic series starting in July. Ive Pre-ordered just out of curiosity. Anyway Ive expired the deal because as I posted this it seems to have come back onto stock everywhere. Plus mods changed the full price to include delivery even thougj you can purchase in store as well as online.
I've got this, its not a graphic novel. Its a story / facts type book. Not much art in the book. If anyone wants to know any specific ask away.
Same here, I couldn't get into Fortnite and Warzone. No matter how much I try. Apex hits the spot
thanks for the advice folks! Kicked off a download last night, will give it a rattle later on (y)
Only game I've played for 2 years. Love it. Racked up fsr too many hours than i care to mention
You can definitely get a lot of fun hours out of it. I’m getting bored of the broken matchmaking though and moving onto other games.
It's the only Battle Royale game I enjoy playing, movement is really good and the guns are very fun. They have also made a lot of good changes since launch such as the shield change where your shield gets upgraded after you deal a certain amount of damage.

Not sure at what point throughout Season 4 you tapped out but Evo Shields (where you can level up your shields through damage and has a 'red' final upgrade with 125HP) are permanent and the only shields now, apart from Gold which got rejigged. They've added season-long 'quests' where you can collect a daily treasure pack that gives free items/advances the season plot. Also a new 'crafting' system where you can collect materials around the map, go to a craft station and build some gear (the items rotate daily). Not to mention a 3rd new map which has controllable vehicles allowing you to move around very quickly. Shields and crafting have been great for making the game more fluid in terms of engaging in fights. IMO Respawn have been killing it recently in introducing new content. There's always some new game mode every 2 months or so, and even if it's a rehash of a previous one they refine it so it usually plays better. Defo worth jumping back on!
The game has permanent duos.
yes, works fine
Respawn has always said they're not fans of requiring players to relearn the game constantly and most of the playerbase agrees with them so things like weekly map changes are a definite no. Events like the MCU, Batman, etc. (freaking concerts and movies) that are in Fortnite, are a no as well. a) Respawn doesn't have the financial capacity of Epic b) the playerbase would almost certainly reject that. At the moment there are about 2 main "events" per season in Apex, that bring new game modes for a limited time, a new legend per season and a new weapon roughly every other season. The meta is tweaked once or twice per season and the third map was launched recently with season 7. You can't ask for Apex to be like Fortnite, they are very different games that cater to very different people. The only thing they have in common really is that they're BR but that's about it, if you're not a fan of one, that's unlikely to change.
