PS4 is the successor to Sony’s ground-breaking PS3 and part of the hugely successful PlayStation series which dates back to 1994. On release, the PS4 delivered better graphics than its closest rival, the Xbox One S. Three years after the release of the first PlayStation 4, Sony released a more powerful model with the PS4 Pro. How Does the PS4 Compare With Other Gaming Platforms?
If you're completely new to gaming, or buying for somebody else, then you'll probably feel a bit lost in how the different gaming options compare to one and other. How To Connect a PS4 Controller to the PS4?
If you're looking to connect a wireless PS4 Controller, like the Dualshock 4, to the PS4 console without using wires then all you need to do is follow the simple steps set out below:
On you PS4, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Devices. You will need to do this on a controller that is already connected or on a wired controller.
On the controller you want to connect, press and hold the PS Button (in the centre of the controller) and the SHARE Button (on the left side of the touchpad) for 5 seconds.
In the Bluetooth Devices section of the PS4 settings, the controller should now appear. Simply select the controller.
Your PS4 console should now be connected to the controller.
