I chatted with Amazon and they gave me the tenner difference, my £283 pair is coming Weds 24th Oct ^^

I just purchased the QC35 II while I wait for these M3s. Not impressed with the poor connection interference. I literally have my phone in my hand and it will have dropouts. I commute on the underground now it's annoying. Also the NC is worse than original firmware when they came out. These things don't get mentioned in reviews. The sonys have the Bose beat in all aspects apart from prolonged comfort.

Same here. I don't think it'll budge much though

Mine was anytime now in Oct till 23rd Nov. I'm in now rush and thought I'd rather save a tenner more. That also gives me a bit more of a chance to look at these properly and other headphones to see if I have made the right choice. Ideally I'm waiting for the Bose 45's to come out but no idea when that might happen.

They're bigger (for your ears) on the XM3

yeah guess it depends how you carry/hold (screen to body is only 2.8% more, under 4% in relative terms) for me: in pocket - all dimensions matter in hand - couldn't care less really

Cheers Major. If it was still £200 I'd probably already have gone for it. Sadly that's a boat I missed by days as my Z3C decided to survive just long enough for it to jump up by a ton!

Green limited edition Brazil version (FIFA world cup 2014) £13.00 on eBay: Also £14.99 on Amazon: Sony SmartBand (Brazil) SWR10 Limited Edition

I bought one of these maybe about 18 months ago when it was posted for around £12 and I have to say that it's a near useless product. It doesn't really do anything much at all, you'd be much better off with a Xioami Mi Band instead. This Sony band doesn't even have a screen or speaker so it can't display the time, sound any alerts, or show any data. Pretty much pointless when you compare it the newer alternatives at the same price that have much more functionality.

Great price just ordered thanks

So on your set up you don't have a centre speaker, just two front standing speakers? I think what it might be worth doing is popping into richer sounds and asking for a test/advice. Appreciate your help once again mate.

Not sure 100% to be fair but I’ve always believed in investing in a real good set of fronts. Also help when u wish just to use 2 channel stereo. For the polk audio I researched them for a while. Really rated in the US. Big sellers over there. The quality is excellent too That richer place would be happy to advise and also demo a mixed setup for you I’m sure. Mine simply works for me with a sound I’m happy with only to be bettered with updates floorstanders in the future. It really can be a personal taste in sound. I’ve sat with pro studio engineers and didn’t like the mix they raved over. Too clinical whereas I prefer a warmth. Take a bit of advice certainly on quality but seriously find a place who can demo it all to ensure I like the sound of it. Maybe a place which can price match too to aid buying all from same place. My biggest issue was simply making a decision and going for it. I bet i could set up 5 or more different systems for similar budget and b happy with them all. 😄

THanks mate for that. It all looks good. Would you advise then to mix and match the speakers I.e buy some separate floor standing speakers and then maybe some wireless rears if you don't want cables running across the room. I'm of the understanding that the centre and front standing speakers should be the same make - would you agree with that?

Pic of the polk audio recessed rears and ceilings. Nice and discreet and sound excellent. Check out website value av if u fancy some of these. Their website is Give them a call tho.

I couldn’t advise as it is a while since I upgraded. My priorities were the Samsung 75 tv Sony av amp and polk audio rears and atmos ceilings. My fronts are an older eltax symphony 6.2 which I love the warm sound from. I too have looked at the ones u have mentioned and will probably swop them out soon for similar. This is the last bit I’d consider. I’ve had a centre in a few setups but am content with some really good floorstanders to do the job. Just need to budget and review for them. For movies it is excellent but more impressive for audio video and apps etc. Great for a chill out just browsing through music videos on VEVO or similar. Just don’t miss the centre channel with amp setup well. Like most things u can just keep going. I will prob budget 500 for new fronts.

Which is exactly why I said, "If you can get a V2 for the same or better price then fair enough". I was motivated to comment because of doodygirl and Rustybucket's preceding posts which seemed to imply that v1 was somehow inherently much worse. In reality the difference is negligible for a lot of people so deals on that hardware it shouldn't be automatically dismissed just because it's the V1 hardware; only if the price itself means the deal isn't very good.

where is cheapest v2?

If it’s just the headset then v1 should be alot cheaper than the package with a camera.

In terms of the headset itself, the only difference between V1 and V2 is proper support for pass-through HDR. If you can get a V2 for the same or better price then fair enough, but it being a V1 headset isn't in itself a problem unless you've got an HDR compatible TV.

I have one of these. Generally not a bad phone but I primarily bought it for the camera which has been a bit of a disappointment. If you're looking at doing anything close up (i.e. less than around 30cm) then you can pretty much forget it. My old Nokia 550 and 630 were far superior for close up stuff. I work as an engineer and take hundreds of pictures of the small stuff I work on. Apart from that, it is reasonably good.

Looked at all sorts of UK reviews and haven't seen anything concerning (I always try to highlight pros and cons), but of course user experience is important too. I ended up buying another phone anyway (for my youngest niece).

I've got this, very poor signal reception compared to other phones on the same network in same location. Can get decent signal on one phone, yet no signal on this phone. Researched last year to find it quite a common problem, yet no known cause or fix except the usual reset, blackspot, do X,y & z script responces from official sources that have never worked.

Both professional reviews and user reviews are in a large majority poor, I'd avoid.

Well... You jumped on my back saying "noone cares and I download films illegally" I was clearly helping others out if they decide to get an Xbox one X for media playback as it doesn't play certain content. Even Kodi cannot play the 4k stuff on Xbox one X via usb. It stutters.

I know about Kodi. Also he was not referring to demos. People are suddenly getting very defensive. Hmmmmm

'Assumed' (skeptical) Kodi is a media player and not illegal. Search online for 4k hdr videos that you can download for free eg demos which they use on repeat in the stores.

Yes i know about Kodi and good story bro. You clearly said "The Xbox one X has issues with playback on downloaded 4k HDR files over usb3". I saw downloaded not ripped.

Hard to say. Only one game has been released prior to this on PS4 (the rest are on PS3 and PS2) and this one may end up on PS Plus, so it's anyone's guess.

Since when? I know it was supposedly accidentally linked a week or so ago, but has it been confirmed somewhere else since then?

Based on other games in series, is this likely to drop any further in price? I have stack of sealed games to get through first (lol)

They have confirmed it’s definitely on PS Plus for November but still a good price for the physical version.

The steel book art design is quite breathtaking. Even though this may be free soon on PS Plus, I think I'll keep my copy. If this is the standard version, then by all means, wait until the end of the month, but if it's the steel book and you appreciate the Yakuza tattoo artwork, you may want to treat yourself to an aesthetic marvel.

Grade A XZ2 arrived this morning :)

Yeah, they had one in stock when the 10% off ebay code was here a couple weeks back, it was there for £275 and thought it was a chance I couldn't turn down. I gladly sold it for £315 the other day with the £1 fvf, making £55 ish. Probs could have got more if I had of bigged it up a bit more, but I like to be honest in my listings, less come back that way. :)

Grade A XZ2 for £248? Wow, I thought I did well. Brillant deal! I also noticed on another thread someone saying £1.50 delivery charge on mobile phones sold by CEX but I have never been charged a delivery fee by CEX. Maybe it is because the phones I usually buy from CEX are over a certain price and a nice bonus... they where always sent special delivery too.

In my opinion its simply not a good deal, not because its Sony. I am using the XZ3 now.

Still have it, love it! But will be a designated "spare" but will not be too far away.I did grumble long and hard about the missing 3.5mm jack on the XZ2 but I guess there should be an adaptor in the box and I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones somewhere.Seemed too good a price to turn down with 2 year warranty.I paid for all of it with vouchers as I sent off 3 boxes of crap.ok harsh..i mean items surplus to requirements to Cex to pay for it.
