Also, there is no headphone jack or built in speaker and no light bar either (that may be a plus actually), However i do like the analogue positioning like the xbox pad but it just doesn't warrant that price just because its HORI who made it. If they had sold this around the £25 to £30 mark it may have been a decent second pad to have around.

Seconded, I like the design but agree it is overpriced considering with them both the same price (no one in their right mind pays £50+ RRP for their controllers) most will obviously pick the official one, which is a shame as I think this could have done well, even just a bit cheaper like under £30...

That's overpriced for an official controller £39.85 for an official controller at shopto and seen cheaper than that too.

Looks interesting as it looks closer to the Xbox controller which I prefer. But licensed controllers shouldn't cost as much as a genuine one imo.

Go Into Curry’s and you can see the difference in sounds, it is bigger and dearer but well worth it

I’m not sure the one he had originally he sent back for a bigger one but it was too big so wanted the original one but his dad had this one but sent it back a few days ago, they sell them on eBay I think for £150, this is it but have seen it cheaper

Only registered on here to warn others. bought this phone from amazon uk and direct from amazon uk and received it today, it was packed in terrible flap over type box, airbag was flat inside even though there was only room for the phone, no if seal is broken sticker, it just had two piece of tape, phone box was rather scruffy looking, packaging box was also somewhat crushed. the protectors the screens have on them that you peel off was full of air bubbles, looked like it had been taken off and then reapplied, so once again another previously used/opened item i have received from amazon with terrible packaging. Phoned up and complained to manager but nothing ever changes. So be careful you may get it cheaper with them but also likely to have problems to.

I like xperia phones...more confusion 1+:)))

honestly guys I have the sony xz2 and the samsung s9, and the oneplus 5t, my opinion the sony is ofcourse the best at gaming, and I think the camera is also better than the others, only problem is the phone is so damn heavy and bulky, its honestly not comfortable to hold. Still that exclusive HDR video is a little insane.

He doesn't like it any more

Apple and pixel do software maintenance in addition to hardware and hence the steep price. Don't see value for money for other phones in 600+ range

Expecting the a6700 by chance? I thought the same last December and five months later...CP+ and NAB pass and nothing in this domain. I was waiting for that or the RX100 VI for so long that I gave up and went FF with the A7iii. Maybe APS-C really is dead ;) Judging by Sony's past pricing when a new model appears, any a6700 will come in higher at £1,500 or so leaving them making minor, if any, drops on the £1,249 usual a6500 price. Anyway, if you need it now it is what it is. And JL/Currys have followed Amazon so there's an extra year warranty with JL:

I wouldn't pay this much for the A6500 - hang on if you can. It'll come down that little bit further soon!!

Anybody in to gaming and has an Xbox one. Pick up the samsung QE49Q7F which has low input lag and 120hz native panel. in the next month or so Xbox is getting update to support 120hz enjoy!

I honestly dont know why you are quoting my comment , I was qouting @MUFFMONKEY comment refering to Sony XE8596 vs XE8577 since this is a sony TV thread the side by side comparison links are for 2 Sont Tv's not a samsung , I have not mentioned anything about a Samsung TV . Iwould not and do not comment on something i dont own

Go for the SAMSUNG QLED. Panel quality superior Tizen OS far superior than buggy Sony TV using Android. This is major downside of Sony with regards to Android on TV or Mobile. Tizen OS I like it. Fast, simple and works great out of the box. SAMSUNG One Remote. Game Mode (Input Lag) All these latest SAMSUNG TV have great input lag. Great for gaming. I got the MU6400 40" and coming from a monitor no major difference and I am a competitive gamer. When it comes to TVs. Opt for SAMSUNG. Back from the 90s Sony, Pansonic use to dominate with great TVs now things have changed. Sony messed up by using Android when the first ones launched. Huge panel faults with blob effects and best of input lag (which they fixed in later firmware for 4K gaming) but not a huge fix.

There is a difference. Android on Sony TV are notorious. Buggy and supported poorly. Tizen OS over Android OS on TV any day. Fast, simple and the UI is fab.

I was the same I got the Panasonic 700b but wanted the oled c7 it went down to £1380 and I still was indesive so went for a Samsung model and it had bad motion and colour banding so wanted to the c7 but was too expensive at £1799 so I've now ordered the Sony 9305e near oled quality for £1169 will wait for oled

be quick No major wear and tear, great condition if the site is not allowed just remove please

there website prices can be a bargain some times i had many off there my most resent was a galaxy s7 edge for 220£ as new and boxed. all off the decent £199 switches have gone aswell. i know when i reported the stolen phone to the store the person i spoke to got the sack as he was rude to me and near enough told me tuff we are not helping. (there is more to it) when my son worked at my local he told me many stories about the drugies.

TBF to CG i think my local store a lot of drug users sell stuff there so they are probably tarring everyone with the same brush in there, they looked stunned when i said no to their offer lol. There is another one Cash convertors i often use to buy cheap dvds/blu rays i find those very good to buy from, but then again i've bought stuff from Cash generators too and only ever had one issue the cd was scratched which they promptly sorted out for me, i could of just had a idiot trying to pull one over me at time i needed cash as i haven't seen him in there recently so maybe he got the boot.

wise. sorry to hear that. my son use to work at my local and that store paid that value i would assume its different for each store. but £50 i would have told them where to go aswell

i had to sell once due to temp money issues they offered me £50 on a ps4 pro i didn't accept i decided to struggle for a bit.

if there's a problem you simply return it you can also collect it from the store if it happens to be local to you! also if the store won't help you simply contact head office.

No. There are standards and benchmarks. £39 was considered a decent price for this game when it was a month old. Now that it's been 3 months, it's no longer a decent price, especially when there are other deals already on the site for considerably cheaper.

Surely any money off is a deal if it's something you want?

This probably is the cheapest, but that's not the point. £4 off the RRP on a game that's 3 months old isn't a good price or a "deal." EDIT: Cheapest is at thegamecollection for £35.

Where's cheapest then please?

I use my oled as a monitor to not had a problem. My previous plasma I did the same no problem.

That's like people who say they've smoked forty a day for 70 years and never had a problem. The serious faults with oled are well documented and so many people have had their to ruined by burn in I've been looking for a new tv and opted for the Sony 65xf9005. I'm an avid gamer and use my tv as a PC monitor with plenty of static images every day hour after hour. No way I'd play Russian roulette with an oled tv. The tech is flawed. If lg have so much faith in it they why don't they offer a burn in warranty? They know the problems. My new tv is superb. I'm not in the habit of sitting watching black screens all night. It gets somewhat repetitive. I'm sure the oled brigade do it all night and get a great thrill. I've got better things to do. For peace of mind oled is best avoided.

Just came back from store and got this ordered for delivery, discount code was honoured. Can’t wait (y)

Yeah, its great. Havent noticed the flicker issue, but then I've been watching movies on it through Netflix and googleplay

My problem with oled tvs is resale value. I know I'll be upgrading in 2 years or so. I think oleds will have s bit of a stigma around them which coupe hurt the price of get for it. So now I'm thinking the sony.

Seemed like he was just trying to help people out to me. The UK is set to turn off FM. IF people were interested in this as a radio he was offering some advice. IF you just want to listen to CDs then this is probably fine for you :)

Going forward you may need one though. But that said its only £49.

Yes & No

That's what I thought. This guy is harping on as if dab is essential. Some people just want something to listen to their cd collection. This is a great price, for some reasonable kit.
