These really are excellent. I tried the Bose (which has similar levels of noise cancelling) but though these sounded much better
All Sony Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
This offer is available on the 2017 android tvs to, I claimed 2 4k films on my xe 8004, the selection is limited tho
Only problem is waiting for 2 decent movies.
I'm afraid not. They are like chalk and cheese - FM (frequency modulation) is an analogue technology, which uses mainly the VHF part of the radio spectrum with the signal being 'carried' on a carrier wave via the modulation of the frequency of the carrier. DAB on the other hand, is digital, and is broadcast on a very narrow set of frequencies ('ensembles') hence does not compete with FM, or for that matter AM, in any way. Blocks within these 'ensemble' frequencies are limited and therefore impacts the maximum bitrate a particular station is permitted to broadcast in. The more digital stations are available, the more crowded these blocks and available frequencies become. Essentially, the technology itself limits its own expansion.
Removing FM should then improve bandwidth available for DAB, no?
Buy a kinetic dab aerial and your dab issues will be gone, trust me.
I love dab in the car, agreed i had to fit a new aerial i actually bought a decent one from dabonwheels and the reception is almost flawless. Iv never used fm since i fitted the dab 6 month ago and can count on one hand the amount of times iv had a signal dropout. If you prefer fm then great, i like to move with the times.
looks good, thanks.
When I look at these, for some reason Bomfunk MC's Freestyler plays in my head.
Ordered. Thanks 🖒
Still click and collect only from an Argos store what already has them in stock
link for argos ebay, still some left https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sony-MDRE820LP-In-ear-Wired-Headphones-Grey-Black-Argos-eBay-/352388952173
Fab, have just ordered 3! Heat added XD
cant see one on mine, the red and black were the same price too, only the blue was more expensive
Does this have built in mic as well? :/
Plenty available on Amazon. There's actually a set on HUKD for £11 odd quid right now (y)
Good luck getting wireless headphones for £15... If you do please let me know :)
How many Tescos?
Ah, I see.
They're wired! Not for me ta
Most of retail advertisment could be considered misleading!
I don't have to justify anything. The fact is the claim that it's 45% off is misleading.
That doesn't justify it being cold - still a good deal. You haven't offered any alternatives at this price point!
I'm going to pick this up as a present tomorrow - seems a decent price considering the zoom lens will be better than using a phone camera.
Good find OP. Looks like this Gorillapod thrown in so £15 - £20 saved. Yes it's from 2014 but at this price it's hard to beat. The big question is - can a modern smart phone do a better job? And after watching this youtube clip, my answer would be no way, at least for long distance video. The other side of the coin is that it has less manual control than most smartphone cams. It's also missing a flip-up screen, so not ideal for vlogging, as you can't see yourself while filming (unlike with a phone using the selfie cam). Still, that zoom lens... makes this very, very tempting. I will ponder your deal this afternoon, thanks for posting @jackthelad Edit: To be fair I should mention that actually you can see yourself while filming using the PlayMemories Smart Remote Control app here. It does mean you have to use your phone screen to see the live view feed from the Sony cam though.
According to this reviewer battery is excellent even if capacity is not bigger
I bought this from cex 3 weeks ago. It came blacklisted unfortunately but they did refund allowing to buy a different phone It was quite heavy in comparison to all other phones we have in our house and it didn't have the large battery as an excuse which I think makes this a very poor design choice. Performance is amazing so for those who want excellent speed which can be useful in playing emulator games such as God of war. It's great device for it
Sorry, i missed that point. Spot on, take it back.
I know. So how can CEX have two listings then? Grade B - Xperia XZ Premium (Three) Network £215 Grade B - Xperia XZ Premium (Unlocked) £245 Three phones are unlocked anyway as standard. My phone is splash screen branded and comes with three firmware with three utilities as stock. Therefore shouldn't I expect it to be sold as a Grade B Xperia XZ Premium (Three) Network phone?
Unlocked doesn't mean debranded. 2 completely separate things.
You can get a pro for that price
Unless a load of comments were deleted that I didn't see, they were hardly roasted. People were simply pointing out it's a Slim.
This plus the DLC characters comes to £29. You could pick this up for now and wait until the DLC character bundle shows up in a sale on PSN. Then it'll be cheaper but I think under £30 is still a good price for this.
Dropping fast but I wait for the version with DLC included.
Thank you. Ordered and heat added.
The online was dead in EU when I tried a few weeks ago
This is a good price for the base game. I've picked a copy up for a friend given the price. You can't really go wrong for£15
This or Samsung NU8000?
Gutted. The tv I’m interested in is £999.97 😩😩😩
Lol... the free £300 voucher
If you can wait until black Friday you could save another £50-100. Or if you can wait until Currys misprice nearer Christmas you could get one for free (lol) (lol) (lol)
Should i wait a little longer to get a PS4? Want it a little cheaper lol
Available in my 3 nearest stores...
Part ex your old Xbox to get a One X at this price at Game. No brainer.
I know you can add 20gb deal no problembut no 5gb. I was complain about it to virgin customer service, then I got this deal through the chat, then claim quidco manualy :)
I have been getting this when you try to get the deal for 5gb for over a week.....could you try adding it to the basket and see if you get the same please? Virgin said they would get it fixed lol
I done few deals before, always tracked by quidco and paid, but sometimes you have to order through virgin chat then claim cashback on quidco
I won`t vote but "some" of their deals can`t be purchased or don`t discount
I actually thought this was good heat from me
Hi guys I've been charged 2 €1 transactions is that normal?
Yea, will be using wired for VR (i find the oculus headphones decent enough for purpose, but shrill). I was thinking about trying a low latency aptx transmitter\reciever with the wired mode in VR but have not found any info on the sq\bitrate for that codec, so will probably just stick with wired and wireless for music when I'm in another room (have a decent 5.1 cinema setup)
Active Noise Cancelling is probably the best. Ambient Mode is designed to leave some of the external noise through. I haven't tried wired yet, but people reported that there is very little difference in sound quality. However, it reduces the lag, if watching a movie for instance
Picked these up for £199.xx when eBay uk had 15% off, hope they are decent for my needs (I read active mode is best even when using wired)
2 year European warranty.
Keep an eye on their prices. I'd never heard of them before but that's twice in 2 weeks they've had a sale on over the weekend. I wouldn't personally buy from them but RS and JL seem to freely price match.
Still waiting on response from John Lewis, but Power Direct have increased their price - theyre now £1,199 after the code (1,299 - 100 code). Guess I've missed that one!
£904 -2% (Quidco) = £886. It was £1299 in may if I remember well. Hot!
Hoping for the best. RS didn't do it even though I gave them same logic about ordering
Richer Sounds told me about limited availability too, I said I've got one in my basket so it's obviously available to buy, he just said ok then we'll price match it. John Lewis took a day to get back to me and they also price matched it too.
Jazzerd: Correct! Though it's in the title and again in the description so no prize for you :( Thought I would highlight in the comment in case someone rushed to buy. Look forward to prize next time
Correct! Though it's in the title and again in the description so no prize for you :(
I have looked into refurbs before, but with only 12 months guarantee I never pulled the trigger. But if someone is prepared to take the chance then this is a good price for a great TV. (party) Heat
old reviews the apps had a few updates now.
I looked at this before going for the more established Nextbase 412GW. Reviews looked good but then I read the reviews for the app on the play store which aren't great. That was the one reason that put me off. Good price otherwise so not voted either way.
Has the highest iso and 4k HDR screen, good price as this retail for 799
phone with best camera and processor and fantastic display and good size battery
Big bezels, ugly heavy, does not fit in pocket . No displayport alternate mode.
Looks good but the sony smartphones I've owned prior have had terrible longevity support. Remember the 'psp phone', it NEVER in my entire ownership of it received an update.
I had the half a gig for 219.00 delivered from topshop just Last week slim in white.plus Free Game
Bought one of those from Argos of eBay. Ended up with CE-34878-0 error on all games and sent back. Bear in mind those are refurbished, for a reason.
Its cold cos its not an xbox one x! ;)
why is it cold? is there any cheaper than this one ...............
Quick Google and it's £100 at Amazon....
Not voting either way, but wouldn't you be better off just buying some wireless earbuds? They could do all this (read out messages, weather etc) and you could also use them for listening to music in both ears.
