Ah fair enough, I haven't really been following the popularity of this one, I was just comparing it to the previous limited ones which never really seem to drop in value. That's just Nintendo though I suppose, their prices don't seem to budge.

I can see your logic, special editions are usually fairly limited and for popular fanchises like Pokemon and Zelda so they sell fast and either keep their price or go up, Metroid on the other hand people just don't seem to care about anymore because of the way that Nintendo has treated the franchise which is evident by the way that Samus Returns hasn't exactly sold well at all even though it's a fantastic game

It is a shame, it feels like they left it too long to release a metroid game on the 3ds. Strange. Hopefully the new Switch metroid game will be good! Maybe that will rekindle the love for the franchise.
