About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Morrison's are doing another of their bonus points offers on gift card purchases. Buy a £50 gift card from a choice of 8 retailers, including Amazon, Debenhams, John Lewis/Waitrose, M&S and 4 others I can't remember and get 6,250 points I.e. the normal 1,250 and 5,000 bonus points.
I assume as with previous offers, there is a maximum number of points you can earn.
Saw this in the Warrington store today...

Just bought 1000 gift cards...
My house is going to be repossessed tomorrow but I am going to get some lovely steak from Morrisons
Although I was told I could purchase as many vouchers and quality for the bonus points ,as previously mentioned by other members, the limit per month on the More card T&C is £100 earned per calendar month. (edited)
Just buy the amazon vouchers and buy the PSN cards from amazon
Max you’re allowed to earn in points is £100 per month so in theory could buy £800 worth of gift cards
not sure as before this transaction i bought £200 worth cards 1x £100 1x£50 2x £25 was not aware of this deal then but after looking here when i checked my receipt i only had 5000 extra points so went back and bought 17x £50 cards paid separately for each card and got 6250 points for each card now when i checked online i only got 50000 bonus points meant to be 90000 looks like there is cap of 50000 max bonus points

I have to say I shop in Morrisons at least twice a week and always check if there are any offers on gift vouchers and I've seen nothing advertising this deal until today when there was a notice over the gift vouchers.
Nothing to activate. Just take the gift cards to the till (make sure it is the £50 ones) and hand over your more card and your points should show on the receipt. I've never had a problem with these not bein added
Yes. I did last year during similar promo....bought £800 worth gift cards seperatly and bought 4K TV. It doesn't matter how many gift cards you use.
Prior to buying the gift cards, I phoned JL customer services and the woman I spoke to said she knew of someone who had applied 28 £50 cards.
Points showed up in my Morrisons account about an hour after I bought the cards.
All done and dusted (edited)
The last day for earning the more points in this offer is 31/1/18 as far as I know.
But once you have earned them they remain on your card and will automatically print the next time you go shopping and present your card. They print in £5 vouchers and max of £50 per visit. The vouchers have an expiry 1 year after issue.
I Did a price match - I just made sure that I paid the 'discount' in my card so that they refunded that back to my card.
I.e. the total amount was £1100 and the price match was down to £1000. So I paid £1000 in JL vouchers (from Morrison's!) And £100 on my credit card. The price match has already been refunded to my credit card. The benefit of that is that you also get section 75 protection from your credit card provider. (although not sure how it works with the refund).
Still a good offer if you were going to buy one anyway but £50 is a bit steep for me to buy just for the points.
Yes you can.
There was a sign up in store above the gift card stand advertising it. I didn't bother taking a picture as I assumed the deal would already have been posted (I'm not normally first to find these things!). I'll see if I can dig out my receipt which shows the points...
John Lewis customer services told me this morning that there is no limit to the number of their gift cards you can use on a single purchase online or instore.
"You are correct we are offering a Fantastic promotion which runs until 31st January '18. This promotion allows you to purchase £50 gift vouchers to be redeemed in Apple, Curry's, Halfords, Amazon, M & S, Debenhams, John Lewis/Waitrose and participating restaurants.
I understand you wish to purchase 12 gift vouchers, this won't be a problem. However to enable you to gain the maximum points, (as you're allowed to achieve 100.000 points per month) I would advise you to purchase six gift vouchers one week and then the remaining six the following week."
I have phoned Morrison's customer services to clarify why the split purchase was suggested, but the person I spoke to was as bemused about the suggestion as I was, as everything falls in the same month.
It would be confusing if you also use the word "vouchers" to describe the "giftcards" being purchased.
The T&C stipulates a maximum of 100,000 points per month which in effect is £100 (16 x 6,250 points) worth of Morrisons "vouchers" received when purchasing £800 (16 x £50) worth of "giftcards".
However, when a similar offer was on for £25 giftcards (Nov 2016) I went for broke and purchased my cards over 2 visits and managed to get £200 worth of vouchers on one More card, but the vouchers were not printed out all in one go. I think 10 x £5 were printed out each time during subsequent visits. (edited)
Hot hot hot
Forgot to add, purchased at the normal till, staff member showed no objection and the till didn't' stop her from processing multiple cards.
Edit...and points now showing on the system. (edited)

I bought more gift cards with the vouchers at self checkout. The assistant told me to scan each voucher and then press “voucher redeem “ on the screen every time, and then scan the next voucher.
... on giftcards?
The last time I got 2 in my account, it only printed one per transaction. So had to wait until I went the next time before it would print the 2nd one.
Has this been changed?
And anyone know the expiry date of this?

Can you buy multiple cards in one transaction, and receive the bonus points on one receipt?
