"To that end, it can be played it two modes: in its the original SNES guise, or in Modern Mode which contains post-FX graphics filters, remastered sound and music, a "rewind" function, and some handy tutorials."

I loved the Amiga Flashback... might be time to punt for a Switch for this!
The Amiga version is still the best one.
Bought Human Fall Flat the other day. Really hoping for Golf Story.
It’s a different game - this is the retro original and a remaster/retinkering of the original not a reboot...
this game wont be for everyone....It’s a classic.... retro masterpiece....
Not everyone likes the movie “one flew over the cuckoos nest” - yet some will buy it on VHS, then DVD, then Blu-ray.... etc.... some might say some have taste and some don’t...
If you had to google this game and mistake it for a recent use of the franchise name it isn’t for you....
If you played it first time round up and remember it fondly - it will be.
I don't think that's been 'officially' announced yet.
Possibly but not announced anywhere yet. Maybe they will produce some in the future after they sell through the CE but that's just speculation.
Yeah tempted to cancel and order this although I now thinkbase will beat this.... mmm
Syberia 1&2 is a cracking price too (edited)
Fair enough, but we all know that most switch games are just ports from other platforms.
I wouldn't expect wonders from this.
that's not the same version
Especially at that price!
Looks like the 2013 version to me. (edited)
I was editing while you were replying. Anyway, If you watch past the first minute you can see it isn't the 1992 version. (edited)
I agree. It isn't what your OP says though.
Do you know if this contains digital codes, 1 or 2 cartridges?
So it would be a bit much at the price if it was just a re-release of a 16-bit version of the game. But if it is an updated game, which it sounds like it is? that is alright and a good one for the collection.
This could be said for all three current gen.
GTA V is widely regarded as the best game on PS4 and that’s very much last gen.
Its a generation of ports and remasters - Mario Odyssey and Zelda BOTW are two stand out games of the generation.
A this point of release cycle in xbox1 and ps4 - I think the switch is more than holding its own on original content.....
depends ds on your definition of a port and if it should be criticised really.
Yeah, but given the awful review from 2013, I'm really not holding my breath.
Preordered! Thanks
