FWIW, these are the 19 EDUCBA courses you can get for free, follow this link for all of them... for ease of use add all 25 to cart, apply the coupon, then remove any that aren't discounted.

    3. go to first course page
    4. click on 'have a coupon?' and put the coupon in
    5. the price must have changed to Free. Add to Cart

Just started watching the Introduction section of some of these courses.

And honest they are...... not great. At all.

It's nice that these are free but if you're serious about learning, don't bother.

I'm going to archive all of them now. I don't think I'll ever revisit them.

Not with the sheer amount of tech roles. I work in tech at the minute and I get 2-3 job offers a week to my inbox or LinkedIn.

    Thanks gives me hope

The best advice I can give you is to build a non-work portfolio

    - Contribute to open source projects
    - Make git contributions
    - Blog on Medium or another platform
    - Build side projects using your code

These are far more important than a CV in today's world. I have hired developers with a single page CV but a long history of git contributions to an open source framework.

Build, build, comment, build, comment, blog, comment, build and then build some more. Profit.

how do you remove ? I dont get the option

I wasn't able to remove the other code so I close the browser and click the link again on this post and it worked. Bear in mind, I added the code and the courses before I created an account. Had I done that other way round, I am not sure if it would have worked. Hope you get it working.

Thanks I had the same and following those steps helped me.

Also this discount is unbelievable why offer such an extensive content for a high in demand programming language? A glitch? If I could, I would give the author 1000+ hots.

I said the same thing only a bit more sarcastically

People just love a freebie. I've hundreds of freebie kindle books I'll never read.

I've done a bit of Python coding. It was easy enough although functions were a bit tricky. It also didn't solve the problems I had which only learning Android would do so I managed to learn Android instead.

Python is easy but powerful, it's great for web based and personal solutions and it's an easy enough language to learn. After learning one language, other languages are easy enough to adapt.

On the other hand, it's not great for GUI or heavy graphic based solutions so if you want to code gaming or portable solutions, look elsewhere.

My advice is, find a problem and create a solution. If there is a solution then do it better or differently.

You also don't need to reinvent the wheel. Use StackOverflow for solutions and copy and paste the best voted answers because no matter what your problem, someone else will have faced it. (I'm not saying this as plaigerism but that there's usually more than one way to solve a problem. There is also a best way to solve a problem, use StackOverflow to find the best way.)

Finally code, code and code some more. Instead of watching Eastenders try coding instead. That's what I do. I love solving problems.

Totally agreed. If you're new to coding then these courses may help but in all honestly I managed to pick up Python very quickly having already had experience in other languages. I find it's a great 'test bench' language for coding a solution to something that is quick and inelegant before refining it, or for using as a layer between web-apps that are lightweight.
