About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Excellent price for those that would like to fly pre Brexit. Fly in a Spitfire over the English Channel but don't fly to France just 20 minutes along the coastline. Should be possible to take larger free cabin baggage than Ryanair, probably more legroom too.
5 1/2 hour experience with what looks like 20 minutes flying time.
Would love to do it though.

sorted byThe day involves a briefing, watching others have their flights. We made it a family day out.
Nope, but maybe a Schmitt.

Yeah but define decent? The memory of this will last a lot longer than that 2 grand car assuming you land safely.
My dad absolutely loves watching/reading about the war and this is literally his dream to do this !
If you have the money then why not lol and a car and having a flight in one of these is totally different lol
My god they really are bleeding there customers dry,are you sure there not german.. (edited)
Sit in a museum to rot? Instead of it being flown, which is what it was designed to do. It's still history, just a living one.
Assuming it's a Supermarine Spitfire, it's a Merlin attraction either way.
Two men flying in a biplane and one say to the other:
"Hey, if we fly upside down will we fall out?"
The other says "Naah, we'll always be friends!"
It’s completely different.
That’s like comparing Wagyu beef to a pack of Space Raiders.
sorry mate... got a job... no time to save the country... just pay to keep it propped up
Had a neighbour, complete with moustache & accent, who was a WWII Spitfire pilot.
GRHS.
Heat, assuming discount works.
heat added btw

Buy one for £1.25 million spitfire new though it's probably be like JCB... 99% foreign parts, 1% built in England..
Yeah it was more for the enjoyment of seeing him freak out like he was back in the war again
You can shoot at Jack Schit
You're so right, after Shoreham every single vintage plane still flying should have been grounded forever. It beggars belief that someone would sell tickets and raise funds to keep these ageing relics air worthy. What is the world coming to!! #groundallspitfires (edited)
The plane is likely to be no more than 40 years old. No two seater variants of the spitfire ever flew during the war. The majority of flying spitfires are now replicas
Thanks
Maybe that's whats in the other 5 hours and 10 mins of this experience
Probably 8 moths as that's how like buyagift ones are good for, same owners I believe.
Regrettably, cameras aren't allowed in the cockpit but you can buy a DVD of the flight for £180 (on the day). Before doing this experience you must read the Risk Information Form which can be downloaded below.
It’s something to remember for the person taking the flight. Who cares if it’s on video ?
