About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
The much loved chocolate tubs go down to £3 at Wilkos. Time to stock up for some Trick-o-Treat, or Christmas or just generally, coz why not
If you order online there is a C&C charge of £2 if the basket is less than £30 - or given its just been placed on offer, there should be plenty of stock inStore as well.
Morrisons have it closest to this price right now at £4
Hope it helps someone.

The old tins were around 1.7kg in the 80s, the new tins are 1.3kg, so not a huge difference. The new smaller boxes are cheaper and the high cost of those tins back in the day meant people only used to buy one as a treat at Christmas, not stockpile loads because they were so expensive. You could even order them on the Argos catalogue and they'd be around in Woolies for quite a while.
As an example, if the old tin was around £5 in the 80s then this would be around £30 in today's money. (edited)
It's all OK though. Because we live in a country where any lardass idiot can poison themselves with fat, sugar, alcohol, cigarettes and the enormous cost is socialised. We all get to pay. God bless the NHS.
Sweet - thanks for confirming
Tried that the other week when they were 2 for 7 quid and it's now time to restock.........

Or Halloween 😜
Or until stocks lasts which may not be long as it's posted here
One Celebration tin that I have in the shed weighs in at 1.4 KG, some are oval shaped with a see through lid.
I also have loads of Malteser buckets.
When the chocolate has gone

It might not seem a lot on paper, but it is actually 23.5%, or almost a quarter.
Presumably anyone stacking shelves in Tesco will not object to a 23% cut in salary, if the company is not doing well ?
Imagine the howls of protest if fuel or cigarette prices were increased by 23% ?
There was a pallet at mine too but the shelves were empty - don't know if they already sold out of one lot! It's not that great a deal to get sold out if you look at the 2 for £7 for an extra quid you get whatever you want!
I sold my Soul to the Devil a long time ago.
They were also like £10 back them, pound for pound they are cheaper now
I don't really buy into the obesity epidemic, maybe it's a regional thing, day to day I do not see a large amount of people who look morbidly overweight or the abundance of overweight children that the media portray. I see more smokers who will cost the NHS in the long run.
Reducing the portion sizes etc is a ridiculous way of combating the 'problem', it just makes the profit and revenue increase.
Like the ULEZ in London, it's a tax like any other under the guise of being in the public's interest.
OP, have some heat as I like Celebrations
haha thats going to be hard - good luck with that
Thanks. That's short!
I think that photo is actual size.
Well, more like £20, but I get your idea!
