Yup , gets your mind ticking . All named brands at eye level so you spend more, all offers on main aisles etc etc

Probably not enough to give much profit at £3.50 by the time the government have taken their 58p. It is just a cheap product to stack by the door and make people think everything else is cheap too. Supermarkets employ human psychologists for a reason, everything is set up to make you think you are getting good value for money. Personally I only go to Tesco to buy these "offers" and then go to Aldi for the rest where at least there is only one choice, you know it will be decent quality, and you don't have to compare the price per kg on dozens of essentially identical products. I used to work for Sainsbury's and they make no secret that by doing an "offer" on one product it will entice you to buy other products with a much higher margin. It's important to be aware or else they will suck you in.

Of course, why not this week 😁 is 20% off for staff

I'd rather have a few bars of Ritter sport from Waitrose for 75p a bar, coconut one is rather nice as is the rum raisin.

Why are are there so many milky ways in the celebrations yet hardly any maltesers !!!!!

Cracking deal; the gift box looks very nice :) Hopefully they'll come back into stock at £2 online!

Expiry date?

Nonetheless I'm a happy bunny ;)

Not sure theres a glitch as they were showing half price £2 on the shelf of the Cwmbran store today. Maybe mass ordering from Hotdeals customers have triggered an alert online, that seems to happen a lot with amazon deals https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=celebrations+gift+box+wilko&rlz=1C1PRFI_enGB804GB804&oq=celebrations+gift+box+wilko&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i60l3.12914j1j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Managed to order 5 at £2 each. Wonder if it was a glitch

Reminds me of the "crazyrussianhacker" guy from youtube. "Safety is Number One Priority" If you have never heard of him he says the line at the start of all his vids he does stuff in. watch?v=Lj5Lk9uyYbI Didn't want to embed it.

Proper men never grow up.

You make a very good point, have you ever thought of going into politics?

This question me as well. Why don't they ban cigarettes. These scumbags smoke right in front of the school gate. The parents and why they don't ban alkohol the scumbags destroy family with their heavy drink. Why don't they ban car. These scumbags drive and kill people most every week. Why don't they just ban everything 😁

So based on your logic, we should ban cars because public transport is available. We should ban diy tools because tradespeople are available. We should ban pets because zoo's exist. Cars, diy and animals injure more people every year than fireworks do but you can't ban everything due to what the minority choose to wrongly do with something. I'm alive once, and so are we all. If I choose to have some quiet and pretty fireworks in my back garden for my family and I have taken the correct safety precautions of them being 20m away, I also have stood a slab up between the fireworks and the viewing area incase a rogue shot flies that way to deflect the shot, then who are you to decide what I can and can't do?

Every year I look forward to the galaxy ones. Every year I fail to find them in any Tesco stor

They're included online but unfortunately not in store, well they're not in my local anyway

Just be careful about the The chocolate orange as this appears to be for the small carton which is £2.50 in Asda. The pouch is 400g which is £3 in Asda

OK …..I remember a 3.2kg tin !!! :)

don't use logic and math here. the just want to moan about how tiny there things are now 😏... not actually find a relevant deal.

Careful with Tesco similar deal. They might get you arrested for buying too many😁 XD 😋

Checked today in my Morrison’s and they are under 200g boxes. 170g and 185g mainly, very small boxes. So it’s odd that some are selling the bigger boxes and some selling smaller ones !? That can’t be right as should be same price in all Morrisons stores .

x2 (annoyed)

They are def smaller packs in my morrisons

Terrible stock levels for this offer in the Cwmbran Store today, Roses & Heroes left, and a few Quality Street .

Quality street, same size, are £5 in Tesco.....I don’t know why people complain, if you don’t want to buy them , try saying nothing :-)

TESCO - don't know if still on but couple weeks back they were doing them at 2 tubs for 7 quid. No contest!

Don't places like John Lewis and B&M sell them as separates?

I would be prepared to pay a little more if Quality Street didn't contain the toffees and the blue wrapper things, whatever they are. It's time they stopped putting these unattractive 'fillers' in the mix as they are nearly always thrown away.

Oh come on posters, what's the matter with you? everyone knows it's obligatory here to post "they get smaller every year"! and thanks to the fact it's Mars & Nestle no one needs to post the inevitable but true Cadbury's is an emetic either !

Can you please expand on this,this is Heron not Tesco. :{

What are we, your PA? Look it up :)

Sell by date was october 18 on the ones in my local Heron

You are correct they only cover the north at the moment but because B&M bought them out last year they are working on bring the Heron Foods format into the south. B&M are currently building a new warehouse in the south with a large freezer capacity which should be finished soon. Once complete they plan to start rolling out the Heron Foods format into 350 existing B&M stores in the south, so hopefully more people will be able to get these deals eventually.

No if you can actually read... I wrote it's a good deal if you are planning on shopping there (annoyed)

Were you trying to find out how quickly your deal can get cold? Some stores may have even started selling these at 2 for £7...

Best before date 14th October 2018 !!!

Minimum spend + delivery cost unfortunately are awful

Great deal and should be hot. No difference to the store specific deals that get voted hot. Except this deal is available to all. As the post says, worth it if doing your shopping there.

Saw some celebrations yesterday for £3.50 in herons. :-)

I agree, it's not exactly something I too would have considered as a 'product with a shelf life'? (or whatever?). Interesting to know indeed ...

I appreciate the heads up, only recently did I know about this. It's a product that you wouldn't expect to go off, so it's good to share, thanks (y)

You should be aware that fabric softener has a 'use by' date. They don't print it on the container, and they don't mention it anywhere, but when it goes off and you call to complain they're pretty unsympathetic and tell you all about the issue. Now I don't buy more than a couple of litres at a time especially the concentrated stuff which only needs an eggcup full each wash.

Hahahahahaha, TRUE!!. :-D

Sad that people actually fight over these. Years ago they had them £3.50 I think it was at ours Morrisons and there was a fight between old ladies. Women!

Yep - they were 1.2kgs. I remember getting 2 Tins (proper metal) of Quality Street for £7 at Asda one Christmas - 2 x 1.2kgs for £7. They've just about halved the amount you get now.

I had my first Roses in many years and I have to say they weren't as bad as I was expecting. As a child I loved the coffee creams, shame they got rid of them so long ago. The new coffee sweet they introduced years back is still nice, not quite the same.

Just picked some up from Tesco express same price 2 4 7.

No Easter eggs in Nuneaton store 😔

Loads piled up in Newcastle city centre on frida

Just started opening new stores in South Wales, maybe they head further down the West Country from here. Have to say I Know people on this site rate these store, but our new store in Cwmbran is unimpressive . A few great headline grabbing deals like these easter eggs, apart from that everything is the same price as Farmfoods or Iceland.

I've been told the new cream eggs are disgusting after a recipie change. My wife was at an Easter egg hunt on Sunday and kids who got cream eggs were spitting them out after one bite. I know the chocolate changed from cadburys milk chocolate a couple of years ago....but now the fondants changed as well.

It's the fondant. How small is a creme egg...

Very store-specific - none at all here. All the Easter stuff went a couple of days ago.

This lot for around £7

Billericay Waitrose selling all Easter eggs at 75% off. Hundreds of eggs on the shelves and according to staff many more in the stock room. Further reductions possible.
