9 for £5.99 on tuesdays was worth it, this not so much.
KFC just opened not far from me. Massive queues, then people sat in the nearby car parks like crack addicts getting their fix. Following morning the place was a sea of litter and mess and now everywhere within a mile or so has been transformed into an open air dump of cardboard and chicken bones, ideal for dogs to choke on

Problem we had it arrived cold

Last few trips to KFC (pre lockdown when things were 'normal') were very poor, different stores too. Cold food, missed items, staff who really couldn't give any F's.

I reckon that's a +ve. Takeaway joints and cafés were getting away with extortionate pricing. Food needs to come down in pricing and it needs to stop being the rock and roll for the masses whilst the nation's waistline continues to expland.
It's food, not a lifestyle alternative as they would have us all believe.
£9.99 used to get you a ten piece bargain bucket with 4 fries not so long ago and they've only improved their efficiencies since then. (edited)
Sometimes I wobder if KFC sponsors HUKD in some way. No clue why this garbage gets so hot time after time, regardless of whether it's a good deal or not.

Lots of complaints on Just eat app about my local KFC, cold, stale tasting,items missing late deliveries, taking no notice of notes, looks like KFC aren't doing themselves any favours

I'd rather support my local independent takeaways who offer much better service than KFC. I don't understand the massive drive thru queues when you can order better food, for cheaper, to be delivered within half an hour on an app like Deliveroo. Every person I know who has ordered KFC for delivery through Just Eat has been disappointed. The order's always been wrong, a bit cold, and taken ages to arrive. (edited)
This offer was on Uber Eats before they closed to get rid of excess chicken. Once KFC came back it was removed within a few days. Good to see it back on another platform.

I leave notes via Justeat and my local kfc add the chicken pieces i ask for but have also ordered from some a little further away and they don't read notes so its luck.- Author

I usually just do 1 cup flour + heavy seasoning with salt, pepper, tumeric, paprika, garlic, onion. Mix that all with 1 cup water to create a nice paste that will stick to the chicken. Then 10-15mins deep fried ~190c

I wouldn't trust the cleanliness of my local KFC's even before a virus that can live on cardboard for 24 hours arrived in town.
Have KFC started serving quality food yet, or do the lazy, uninterested staff still reheat yesterday chicken that they stored in a cupboard overnight and chuck it in the microwave before sending out the wrong order
Buy 2 chickens for a fiver. Cut them up and brine them 24 hours in advance. Pull out your flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, coriander powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, chilli powder, blast some fennel into powder and make a mix.
Make an egg wash. Take chicken from brine, dip in egg, dip in flour, fry.
Cheaper, tastier and more fun to do with the family.
