Chicken flown all the way from Brazil. Is it just me, I’m reluctant to eat meat sourced outwith UK, that’s not to say UK breeding methods are better at least there is some accountability unlike meat travelling from abroad. Then there’s the Halal labelling? If no Islamic council has certified it how could it be labelled as such.

There are a lot of companies who seem to put a halal logo on the packet and sell them in supermarkets. Who knows if they are halal!?
Look at Humza for example. The owner is a non-Muslim Tamil and his brand was caught by FSA for mixing pork with their meat. Humza is still available in supermarkets with the Halal logo!

One of my mates, whose family owns a butcher's since the 70's told me that no beef in England is halal. Even Halal chicken that we buy from dubious Pakistani butcher's comes from questionable places in East Europe and who knows if they are slaughtered in halal way?!

These are not the best to be honest, we bought a bag a little while ago and we threw quite a bit away preparing the stuff....

Make sure these are well defrosted before consumption because if they arent they will be very chewy and hard

Farmfood’s Halal air fryer chicken nuggets and other ranges are quite good.

The spicy chicken nuggets are great made in the air fryer. There that good I see the local takeaway owners stocking up on them too
