Sure thing.

It's great for engine bay and sills
You don’t find many professional detailers in trade garages and Bilt Hamber is probably the most cost effective detailing brand available all of their products are very cheap compared to similar products, they offer some of the best value available
No it doesn’t see here
Valet Pro bilberry wheel cleaner is excellent
I’ll continue to spend very little on quality products that are proven to work thanks, plenty evidence out there how good the products are try educating yourself on the fact rather than trying to belittle people that use them and know what they are and how to use them
Yep.
Check the latest video from Car Cleaning Guru on YouTube. He uses this to good effect on a Morgan
I have used Surfex to degrease stuff from cars also garden machinery, oil leaks from cars parked driveways and even patios
Excellent degreasing properties and can be watered down so goes a long way
Have used on alloys with no issues but did water it down and tested on small area before cleaning alloys but BH also do alloy wheel cleaner
I like the Bilt Hamber products and have used for years but others will always disagree and use there own choice of brandes products
Heat to Op
Stay Safe
Cheers 🏴 (edited)
Loosens up the dirt really well.
At 20 to 1 probably even 10 to 1 your wax is safe. I use 10 to 1 for lower panels before snow foaming.
You can’t argue with the tests on forensic detailing , much prefer bilt & hamber
Come off it Bilt Hamber offer some of the best products on the market and are used by loads of professionals as well as hobbyists as you like to call them
Sounds like you use a bucket and sponge, good luck with that 🏻
You should be fine I’m sure. Careful of the eyes though. TBH Lynx shower gel would probably do a better job than the GP2000 Horseboxguy is suggesting.
Based on the little graphic in the corner of the hand getting burnt into....without going back up to the top the Bilt Hamber stuff is a little more friendly to the environment. Im not in any way questioning your working credentials but isnt that one of the points of the Bilt Hamber product?. I totally agree if you want to clean your bike/car/whatever then using the Bilt would be a bit (well, alot friendlier) to the environment instead of using trade [more acidic] products, or am i wrong there?
Haha, yeah I’ve noticed how defensive people get without much actual varied experience. Thanks.
Have you tried them both
It doesn’t strip wax it’s been tested repeatedly both diluted and also at full strength by Bilt Hamber themselves and many detailers on YouTube
that’s neat, you don’t use it neat. Used at 1:10 dilution ratio it doesn’t noticeably affect LSP. This has been tried and tested.
Alloy Wheel Cleaner. That’s a gel one that clings, Ali Brite is the proper acidic stuff that the trade uses, but you need to be cautious with it.
Haha, professional what? You won’t find any of this stuff in any trade garage. It’s not bad stuff, just way overpriced as it’s for retail buyers and Instagram posers. The actual trade uses trade stuff.
I got the GP 2000 last time (instead of GP-XT), but here are the rates for that:
It’s worth saying that this is a multi purpose cleaner, not a TFR. The TFR is fantastic stuff, but just comes in 25L barrels or huge drums. (edited)
Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel - wheel cleaner with built in fallout remover. 1p0% safe on any wheels
Yes you can. It’s an APC so pretty much everywhere is applicable. Some people like to use this as a prewash to take most of the dirt off their cars and elsewhere in their homes. I’ve been waiting for this deal for a long time
Used this on my lance for my old Punto HGT no issues with the paint and by far does a better job on wheels and actual decreasing. No it doesn't foam as fancy as many others I've tried (latest being polar blast) but does the job 3x better imo. Water based so also used on grimy tiles, our patio windows oven and bbq 😁
Brilliant - thanks very much. We`re going to borrow the carpet cleaner next week so ive not idea how the solution is added but thats a good start. Cheers. (edited)
Bikes are bikes, simple machines. Shouldn't be to dirty. Not much experience needed. Regular cleaning. Don't fall for marketing.
It’s not acidic, it’s an irritant due to how strong it is. It’s basically like Autosmart G101.
But as Ive said above, they do proper TFR (a few of them), and the best stuff I use is Enviroclean, which is non caustic and PH neutral. But the smallest it comes in is a 25L (because it’s trade, not retail) which works out at £14.69 per 5L delivered. (edited)
Brilliant - thanks very much for the infomation and schooling. Its always good to have alternatives!
I’ll have to try that ratio going forward and see if it makes a substantial difference going forward. If anything it would help me use it all up as it has certainly lasted its time.
