The Poco F3 would be better with it having the better screen, 870 Snapdragon chipset and 5g capability 🏻
I get asked these questions all the time and it is very complex, I'd say the Samsung camera and UI will be better, the poco will be more powerful etc. And Get more in the way of updates, S10e obviously much smaller.
£249, so unfortunately not, it will be £199 tomorrow via xiaomi uk
Only reason to buy S10e these days is if you want a SMALL, relatively powerful phone. If you don't care about the size then there are loads of better/cheaper options. I've had an S10e since 2019 launch which I am looking to replace but nothing significantly better comes close in size except Asus Zenfone 8.
I'll save MrSwitch from having to answer!
You dare to question Obi Switch Kanobi?
Samsung:
- better Amoled screen
- better User Interface
- better camera with OIS
- better raw performance
Poco is cheaper and probably at this price is better value for money.
3 deals on the Hottest bulletin I just got in my email inbox
I have a X3. Been having ghost touch issues. It would happen so randomly and go crazy and end up changing alot of settings. Thought it was case or screen protector but still did it after removed. But not often. Recently it started doing all the time to the point where the phone was unusable. Contacted Xiaomi and I had to sent it off. 1 week later got it back and they said they fitted new screen. Haven't had an issue since. Only been 1 week though lol
The refer a friend discount of £15
Is this a better deal?
Or is it more complex to answer yes or no?
Very droll .......
Sent my x3 back because of the battery. Literally dropped 1% as soon as I unplugged it. Then dropped at alarming rate.
Cheers
Thanks Mr Switch
It's for my 10 year daughter, I bought the S10e without doing much research. Didn't look into screen size if I'm being honest.
Although she would prob like the bigger phone, 5.8 seems about right for her, and it will fit better in the many handbags she insists on carting around.
At home she'll be on a tablet, so all good.
I still use an S9 which is big enough for me. Battery has seen better days but everything else is fine.
F3 if you can mate
I have the max3 and bought this phone as an upgrade. There's many differences between the phones physically, which I'm sure you're aware of or can research. However I had to sell the Poco pretty much instantly as I personally love the miui software system and the Poco software is significantly different which I didn't know. It must be said in fairness, that I'm not saying one system is better or worse than the other, just different. Poco apart from software is a great phone (edited)
In my opinion one of the biggest differences between a Samsung phone and a Xiaomi/Poco is Samsung's One UI vs MIUI software. Samsung's UI just works but to get the best from a Xiaomi/Poco phone you need to dive in to the settings. I bought a Redmi Note 9 Pro last year for work and I simply couldn't get notifications from WhatsApp or Facebook messenger. Installing YouTube Vanced was also a real pain. You got to switch off battery saving options and select app auto restart and allow all background processes. If you're tech minded that's not to big of a deal but for someone who's not that's going to be a real pain in the backside.
MIUI had for got some really useful features but it can also be frustrating as hell. It really is about time they sorted out their software quirks as it's been going on for years. In terms of hardware and bang for buck Xiaomi/Poco are untouchable however.
I've had this issue with some previous phones (mainly Motorola one's but also a Samsung once). In nearly all cases it's a hardware problem and you have to replace the screen. Keeping your phone in your back pocket while walking can cause a slight bend in the frame which can result in ghost touch - that's what Samsung's service centre reckoned caused mine & fortunately they still replaced it. If you're lucky it could be something as simple as a dodgy screen protector or faulty charger but most likely it's a case of replacing the screen.

too much (edited)
No worries
I've had mine for about 5 months and had no battery issues at all. (edited)
Ordered from these on Sunday came this morning. You may get lucky.
It's quite a significant issue and I'd recommend no one bought this phone till it was resolved!
I think you can get detachable ones, though the ring style ones sit very flat when not in use. I much prefer to keep it on as it makes using the phone that much easier all the time.
Having gone from an S10e to an X3 Pro, I much prefer the X3, battery life is night and day for starters, but saying that, I loved my S10 when I had it, not a bad little phone at all.
