What guarantee do Costco provide on this?

In general, Costco's return policy is excellent. However, it does vary - serial returners can find spurious claims rejected, whereas people who only return one or two things a year can expect to use the Instant Pot for 5 years and successfully return it when it breaks. There isn't a set policy, except on electronics and white goods.

I have literally seen someone return a set of used pots and pans, 8 years old, and get a refund. That's the service you can expect if you spend thousands a year there and don't (often) take the p*ss with returns.

Woah, this is a very good price. I'm tempted to buy another.
I already have one, and two SV sticks though.
The wife would use my knackers as clackers if I get another, unfortunately.

We bought ours on offer from Amazon at £59 over 6 months ago. Just fill it set it and come back to your meal. Top class results and food tastes much better than from a slow cooker.

What about comparing this to ninja 9in1? This is twice cheaper but is ninja better to pay the difference?

Would argue this deals better. More functions including air frying and is the latest 2021 model. 44% off aswell which is incredible value. hotukdeals.com/dea…-25

Very good price. We love ours. Paid £99 for it when it was on sale 2 years ago.

Is there much difference in functionality/features between this one and the Ansio one posted just recently from Amazon? I know this one is a big brand and Costco have great after sales care but so do Amazon. I'm only interested in using the pressure and slow cooker for curries, stews etc. Have ordered the Amazon one for now as it's £40 cheaper and arriving tomorrow but can always return it and get the Costco one on Monday. Would appreciate the advice. Thanks.

Bought this in Feb think was £64 and it’s earned it’s keep already. The best thing is defrosting straight from freezer and cooking whole chickens so fast . Totally changes how and what you cook. Is big though !
  11. dragonboatgirl's avatar
Is this big enough for a family of 4, or would the 8l be better?

This has no steam setting for vegetables?

You could ‘steam’ veg in it as it’s basically cooking with high pressure steam. I would say that it’s not really worth it though as it will be too hard to prevent overcooking.

Instant Pots seem to be very reliable, so I wouldn’t personally be all that inclined to pay double.

Most cheap manufacturers will offer the same features, but it’s pot luck whether the cheaper ones last as long or are as reliable in terms of getting up to the same pressure etc.

I use mine so much that £59 is an absolute bargain. (edited)

Any way to get this price without paying the membership fee?

Beat someone up in the carpark and steal their card.

Or, go as a guest with someone who is a member.

Very good price. This is the one I have. Note the sous vide mode whihc some of them don't have, if you're into that it's very useful.

Anyone know what the difference between this and the Duo Plus is? The features look very similar.

Was tempted by the ninja deal the other day, but what put me off was the sheer size of the thing. The given dimensions mean we only have one kitchen cupboard that it will fit in! This instant pot seems much more reasonable in size - so what features am I missing? Air frying?

I'd like to know this as well? Thinking for a vegetarian (no fish) the Instant Pot makes more sense than Foodi.

Air fryer would be very useful though...
