Adidas refund

Hello. Just need some advice what to do next. I returned some adidas trainers back in june . Items have been received but not got refund. I have rang, live chat and WhatsApp countless times, given many reference numbers been told manager will contact me and nothing has happened. I filled online form for bank details, still nothing. I have sent complaint via email and no one got in touch with me. Also when I contact them they say wait 14 day's for refund. So I ring after 14 days they say we escalated wait 14 days again. Not sure what to do now. Any help would be appreciated.

Cool will send compalint to this address

No benefit to complaint. Go straight to bullet pointed LBA.
Letter should state expected reasonable timeframe to receive refund, maybe 14 days from expected letter delivery date.
Send from post office using ordinary first class mail.
Ask for and retain two items from PO: freebie certificate of posting and cash payment receipt. Do not lose those two items that satisfy Interpretation Act from the 1970s.
Do not send via any signed for service.

Is their a template letter I could use

What was reason for return? Defective, not as described, change of mind, other?
Who arranged and paid for the return postage/courier service; AdUK or you?
How many days from your receipt of the trainers until placed in possession of return courier?
What is nature of "Items have been received" by AdUK; courier tracking maybe? Is that tracking still available on a live webpage and/or have you retained proof of AdUK receipt?

How did you pay? Go back to the card provider/bank and claim a chargeback.

Chargeback would need to have been initiated no later than October 2021. That was 3 months ago

    Assuming Adidas UK online store:
bulletpointed LBA to the company's registered office in Stockport, followed by MCOL if necessary

I've had similar problems with Adidas regarding a gift card refund, their customer service is absolutely shocking and there doesn't seem to be a complaints process at all.

Email their CEO and say if you don't get your refund within 14 days you will lodge a claim in the Small Claims Court. It is a very simple process, very informal and when you win you even get your application fee refunded. Hus email address is: martin.shankland@adidas-group.com

Need to LBA prior to small claims (MCOL), as mentioned in prev posts...

Could use the email as LBA but the email does not carry the weight of paper mail that if sent via the PO methodology as previously stated is legally deemed delivered to the recipient even if it isn't.

Sample quick knock-out LBA below based on multiple assumptions that you haven't confirmed.

    ---------------------------
    Date: dd mm yyyy

    Dear Mr/Ms Slow

Re: significantly overdue refund relating to order xxxxxxxxx

This order was returned to Adidas UK in mm yyyy for agreed refund however no refund has been received.

Your return delivery agent's receipt shows the return goods were accepted on dd mm yyyy.

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 requires refund to be provided within 14 days yet despite multiple contacts with Adidas (UK) Limited the refund has still not been received to date some 6 (7?) months later.

The refund is clearly significantly and unacceptably overdue.

I shall commence further action within 15 days of this letter unless I receive confirmation that:
the refund is being processed, and
you state an acceptable scheduled date for refund completion.

I await your prompt appropriate response.

    Love

    Me
    ---------------------------

Date the letter to the weekday date of intended postal collection and send to:
Company Secretary, Adidas (UK) Limited, The Adidas Centre, Pepper Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport, Cheshire., SK7 5SA
via Post Office with method as stated in previous post here.

    Above suggested LBA text assumptions:
purchased online from adidas dot co dot uk administered by Adidas (UK) Limited
    change of mind
contract cancellation notified to merchant IAW merchant's credible t&c interpretation of consumer legislation
receipted by the merchant's return courier no later than 14days after delivery to you
you have credible dated record / receipt from merchant's return courier.

Other return reasons and / or different timeframes / records would require amended text.

No problem, just read the suggested LBA text carefully to make sure it directly applies to your circumstances, especially the context of order "cancellation" and CCR 2013 citation.

I have same not refund issue with this merchant. Refund waiting and faithing for own money from 19.11.21. Total of order amount was near 2k, was do order using PayPal and one order was splited in six seperate orders. I was must open six cases on PayPal, which 5 of 6 win and get refunded about 50% of all amount. Worst company in UK - none competent, all time something failed, not keep promises, they lies, push customer do thing's which don't need to do, ask stupid questions, ask proof something all time, but own can't provide refund order proof / receipt like example. Actually do everything, tell everything, ask everything for do not procesing refund.

Questions is, this is even legal do like that?
UK exist some instance for company / merchant quality control, which can do workers / staff, documentation, warehouse audit and close them down if not fit by national consumers regulations?

Can we do something about that, at least I and you not alone with this issue and can do something - they must be prosecuted, close them down and demand compensation for let us feel like idiots, for waste time and nerves...
