Lightspeed wireless
In a tense firefight, the smallest amount of lag can decide the winner. The Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse has incredible responsiveness, so you won't be able to blame your deaths on lag anymore.

HERO sensor
Accurate clicking is the backbone of PC gaming. The Logitech HERO Optical sensor packs a sensitivity of 12,000 DPI, so the reticule moves to exactly where you want it.

Long battery life
With the Logitech G305 Lightspeed you get 250 hours of continuous play with one battery. If you're more into turn-based affairs and don't need ultra-high responsiveness, you can switch to Endurance mode and extend the battery life out to nine months.

Lightweight
Wireless doesn't mean heavy anymore. A lightweight mouse offers greater manoeuvrability, so the Logitech G305 comes in at under 100 grams. If an enemy gets the drop on you, you'll be able to spin around before they pull the trigger.

With the reduced weight, the G305 is kept small, and has a storage compartment for the USB receiver. This makes it more than just a great desktop mouse – you can throw it in a bag with your gaming laptop and play anywhere.

Is this any good as a sofa mouse? As in, will it track well on none hard surfaces?

It's optical so it's ideal for that.

Are people really switching AA to AAA in these to make their mouse a few grams lighter?

Go back to your ball mouse then, nobody is stopping you.

Excellent price, fantastic mouse. Not the most premium build quality but sturdy enough. Very responsive, tracks brilliantly, and is fairly light. Can be made a little lighter with AA to AAA battery adapters. I really don't think you will find a better wireless mouse at this price, or even at £23.99

use a triple a battery and some tin foil and you’ll achieve a mouse around 80g.

Nice offer, but says out of stock email me when back in stock. Shame, just what I was looking for, for my son. Hopefully still on offer when it’s back in stock (edited)

Not bluetooth 5.0. Makes it difficult and cumbersome to pair with surface laptop studio.
    Robbo11's avatar
Lol. It's not bluetooth anything. It's a wireless mouse, not a bluetooth mouse. The thought of you trying to pair it with your laptop made me chuckle. (edited)

Thanks for posting, I was after one when they had this offer the other week but there was no stock at my local store. I've had one of these for years, fantastic mouse, wanted a second one for work.

I was gonna buy but there's £4 shipping to Highlands. Not a lot, but now considering getting a different one (edited)

Even at £23.99, no wireless mouse comes close to this in performance.

Has anyone bought this at this price? I am unable to buy it..
    Mark43's avatar
    Yes, I have.
Are you doing it to collect in store? If so it should knock the money off, if you've selected delivery I think it just knocks off the delivery charge

if you had more money to spend, what mouse is the step up from this? is it the G703 and then the G903/G502 and then the pro? (edited)
    chischis's avatar
None of them, necessarily. They have marginally better build quality but very different shapes. Which one will fit your hand better? Will it fit better than the nice simple ambidextrous shape of the G305? Hard to say.

Brilliant mouse. I have one of these and a G Pro wireless which I forked out £100 on. They're both great and I'm happy using either.

Build quality on this is noticeably cheaper, but it does the job amazingly and is sturdy enough.

Seems to be only one per order. Anyone else also not able to select 2 or more?

You need to add one at a time as £5 off applies one per order. (edited)

Anyone had any problems using this mouse with Windows 11? Was working fine until a couple of days ago, now the receiver thinks the mouse is 'inactive'. Works fine on my Windows 10 work laptop.
  20. TankDeal's avatar
If my mouse died today this would be great excuse but it didn’t happen yet.
  21. Robbo11's avatar
I have two of these already after recently buying a spare for the same price in a previous HUKD posted Currys deal last month. I paid £10 more than this for my original G305 last year and thought that good value so at this price, it's a really good deal. The mouse is very responsive and the single AA battery lasts a heck of a long time when gaming, or if you install the Logitech G Hub software, even longer if you put it into endurance mode when you don't need gaming response times. Using the Logitech G Hub software you can also alter, add or delete the mouse DPI values via a sliding bar.

a similarly priced good keyboard is all we need now

Does anyone know if this goes to sleep when not in use? I have an ROG mouse which is great but you have to physically switch it off when you're not using it or it drains battery which is really annoying.
