Features and benefits

The DHP453 is a powerful cordless combi drill, with two mechanical gears and all metal gear construction to ensure high transmission durability. A variable speed trigger covers a wide range of drilling, driving and hammer applications. Other features include sixteen adjustable torque settings plus drill mode. Makita’s DTD156 is a compact and lightweight impact driver with a powerful four pole motor producing a maximum fastening torque of 155Nm.

    Good deal ,but they are not showing brushless when you go to the deal. Misleading the picture above definitely showing brushless and different models.

    awesome deal just for the batteries.
    With my 10% trade point discount I got this for £153.
    Ill sell the drill and driver for £30 each and the charger and case for £20 each leaving me with 2 x 5ah batts for £53....sweet.

    What is better Brushed or brushless

    Brushless is always better but in my opinion in most power tools it isn't the main factor. It makes a big difference in high power tools like circular saws both in terms of power and battery life but almost no difference in drills where if you look at the Makita range for instance many of the brushed models outperform all but the top end brushless ones.

    Brushless is better- but will usually cost you £20-£100 more depending on whether it’s a drill, hedge strimmer etc… batteries last longer and the brushes within the product don’t wear out.

    However , brushed will be fine for most DIY use e.g- I have a brushed drill for light use and then a brushless SDS drill for lots of brick/concrete drillingetc (edited)
