The successor to the legendary Ender 3

The newest printer from Creality 3D is based on the well-tried and popular Ender 3, which has now been completely upgraded and offers even more. The classic appearance with an all-metal frame has been continued to maintain stability, but some innovations and improvements have been added.

Easy assembly

Thanks to the integrated structure and modular design, the Ender 3 V2 is also easy to assemble. To increase safety, the power supply is now installed in the machine.

V slot

The Ender 3 V2 uses very high-quality V-slots to ensure a more even movement, higher wear resistance and more stable printing results.

Carborundum glass plate

This glass plate is a popular upgrade for the normal Ender 3 because of its very good adhesion and fast heating speed. The smooth first layer also increases the aesthetics of your finished models. With the Ender 3 V2, you no longer have to buy this upgrade because the printer comes with it as standard.

Very quiet

The specially developed motherboard with TMC2208 Stepper Driver has been designed for maximum noise reduction. It ensures smooth movement and low noise of less than 50 dB during printing.

Simple belt tensioning

The Ender 3 V2 now has a new belt tensioner. This allows you to easily and conveniently adjust the tension of the XY belts.

Easy feeding

With the new rotary knob on the extruder, it is now much easier to refill new filament.

My husband has asked for a 3D printer for Christmas...as someone who knows nothing about them- what's the difference between this and the £229 printer on offer at CCL Online? Thanks in advance!

The one at CCL Online is a newer model and has a direct drive extruder (which is better than this one). It also has dual motors and screws for the Z axis (up and down direction) which should be more accurate too.

The beds are different too, this one a stiff glass plate whereas the other one has a flexible steel one magnetic one. I can't comment on which is better although getting a print off a flexible plate can be easier but I do have this printer and generally once the print cools it will pop off on it's own anyway.

No experience of the CCL one (Ender-3 S1) but my Ender-3 V2 has generally done a decent job. Might be best to look at reviews of the Ender-3 S1 and see what people think.

Great printer! I'd go for the S1 for not much more but if on a budget you won't go wrong with this.
